Best find for me in 2023 was discovering Nikki and her channel 🙌🏼 no one else in the makeup tutorial and review videos compares to her! She is such a beauty inside and out and really knows her craft. It is such a joy to watch and learn from her, truly. What should of been included, that you missed in this video, was the release of YOUR BRUSHES!!! They were hands down my favorite "makeup product/accessory" purchase of 2023! They have been a game changer for me. I didn't have "cheap" brushes before but there is something so special about your brush set. It is all I need! They were so well thought out. Yes Haus Labs Triclone....my go to. I must say though, every time I am wearing Lisa Eldridge's foundation, I always get compliments on how beautiful my skin is! This year was my year of discovering LYS. Wow, I am loving this brand. LOVING.
A drugstore video would be great. Drugstore products that meet the cut bc there are great mascaras, eyeliners, lipliners.
I’ve tried several Rare Beauty products because of you and, so far, love them. The eye brightening concealer is right up my alley. Natural, not heavy and of course brightening. 50 y/o here so I have to be careful with make up or else I will look older. Less is always more, plus getting the right product helps a lot. Ravie Effortless Lips doesn't last but a few minutes. Tulip was the only color that worked on my light complexion. The other two colors were blah.. . She doesn't accept returns which is rotten. So until she offers returns I won't purchase fr Ravie Beauty anymore.

Would be nice to have something for older people - at least ONE video. People with lines …. On whom foundations really don’t work very well any more.
I love the Danessa Myricks balm. It's great as a no makeup makeup day. Same with the Fenty Sticks.
As a person who wears a mostly minimal style type of makeup, i absolutely loooooove the danessa myricks groundworks palette! It actually makes me want to break out of my comfort zone and try different eye looks! And I was so curious about her metallic one. I think your review is convincing me to try that one too! I returned the Haus Labs.Triclone Foundation cz it was very visible on my skin. It emphasized my flaws. I tried 4 different shades over 4 months with various things under it. Just couldn't get it work for my 59 y/o skin.
I didn’t like it either. It was pretty, but it settled into my forehead wrinkles and made them look so much worse. Once I went back to my Loreal foundation it was like the wrinkles were erased.
Same here, I just really shy away from liquid foundation. I am 53 y/o and I discovered bare minerals powder foundation and will never use liquid again. I just had to always do all my skincare and moisturize. It really is good for my liking
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Mac hyper real serum has changed the GAME with my skin care!!! Seriously, implementing this during the cooler months has been a game changer for my skin. It has me in a chokehold and even though it's extremely expensive and completely out of my budget, I will make a way to always have it!!! Could you maybe do a review on the Maybelline sponge applicator 4in1 glow foundation/bbcream thing? The reviews range from horrible to amazing and I honestly dont trust anyone else but you 😅

Happy New Years Nikki ! Your eyebrows look so pretty! They look a bit different, but so pretty. I purchased Huda Beauty One Coat WOW mascara, it’s horrible 😢such a wet formula and so hard to work with. It for sure doesn’t give me length, yet does give volume, yet gets so clumpy and flakes. I am so flustered with trying to make it work. I know and understand that not every product works great one each individual. I for sure am going to try the cyclone foundation, tower 28 concealer and their mascara. Thank you for bringing to us you 2023 faves.

I discovered the new Rose Inc Softlight Skin Smoothing foundation and not only did they have a medium cool toned shade which no one has, but the foundation is beautiful and you need very little of it for amazing coverage. Definitely recommend everyone giving it a try!

Love your videos and your calm teaching style! Can you pleeeease do a short video on how to do makeup to conceal milia? Especially milia that is right on the outer upper cheekbone close to the eye… it’s literally where highlighter and blush go, and those really emphasize the bumps. Are we doomed to doing makeup without those two things 😢

You should try Guerlain Terracotta foundation. Is AMAZING!!! So long lasting and looks soooo natural and luminous with high coverage. I try usually a lot of foundations and it's one of the best I ever tried!
The only one I’m questioning is Natasha Denona I need a nude palette. I haven’t seen many dark and deep skin who has been able to use the palette in a variety of ways. If I’m wrong Nikki please do a video showing the many different ways to wear the shades please. If anyone can do it, it will most definitely be you!

Fun fact - I started using the DM light works V palette to get the chrome affect on my nails!! Rub the shadow on, cover w/gel top coat and cure. So pretty!!
Favourite eyeshadow launch was definitely the Surratt Soufflé Eyeshadows. Beautiful desaturated colours and they last for ages and can be sheer wash or built up.
I just picked up the MAKE powder you mentioned. Sounds perfect for what I've been searching for. My favorite new launch of 2023 was the Flower Knows Little Angel line of eye shadows, blushes, etc. I only got those 2 things, but both are absolutely lovely products. The packaging is the biggest wow factor, but thankfully the products wind up being quite good. This line was definitely needed, because their earlier releases didn't have enough diversity of shades nor color saturation to fit darker skin tones.
I'm very happy to see a cool-toned eyeshadow palette; those shades look gorgeous!
I discovered the new YSL Mini Clutch shadows and they are pricey but worth it. I’m only 40 but I think years of swimming in the AZ Sun did a number on my no-so-firm eyelids, and these shadows are incredible. I have 200 (favorite) and 400 and trying to grab the taupe one. They are special and amazing for non-pros. Expensive but absolutely worth it!

The new Mac one was disappointing. Looks make-upy close up and is almost matte on my dry skin. And yes, I prep well and use a little. My go to is Mac Face & Body, that one does not show up on the skin like you are wearing foundation. And skin looks natural, not too matte.
So new to makeup in my older age, 56. That Danessa Myricks Groundwork is the most amazing thing I have used! The lightest color matches me in a way that I can use it in my deeper wrinkles, like around my mouth and eyes, and they just disappear! It's magic for me!

Looking for a "brown" mascara. Have heard raves about the Tower 28 mascara but then did see someone saying they didn't like? I then saw someone talking about the YSL lash clash (think it's called) being their holy grail mascara. Both look like they have a nice brown shade. Any thoughts?

When I saw your eyeshadow I had to know how you created it. But then I saw you pulled out DMB palette and I was like she definitely used that. But I still need a tutorial 🤩. I agree with GXVE Products in general everything I have tried I love 💕. Definitely try her liquid lipsticks 💄 and bullet lipsticks they are long lasting and pigmented I am a fan of all her lippie products I have most shades. I also think her Original Recipe Red 💄is the exact same shade as Elson from Pat Mc Grath tell me what you think if you haven’t tried them. I usually try some of these products either through beauty box subscriptions or samples.
I want to get the Haus Labs foundation or the Dior foundation but I can't make up my mind! I have combo skin with some texture. I prefer my foundation to feel lightweight with a satin finish. Which should I pick up??
It’s difficult to trust that you genuinely use a particular product when you had to look at its label. For instance, with Mac foundation, you instantly knew your exact shade, showing your familiarity with it. However, for several other products, you needed to read the label, suggesting that you might not use them as frequently as you claim. But I still like watching.

Really needing to do a better job with undereye concealing. Was pretty sure I was going to do the ND corrector + concealer, but then saw a video talking about the Huda beauty ones. Sounded like a fuller coverage, plus apparently just came out with a new pink shade.
It seems like the label on the DM Groundwork fell off everyone’s palettes. People were gluing them back on with nail glue and stuff.
I don’t find the Dior foundation to be long lasting at all. Even with the primer my skin breaks it down in minutes. I wanted to love it but it did t love me back, sadly.

I’m a fan and user for many years of bare minerals as my skin loves this brand and takes it in well. and wonder if you have a similar video on “ clean” brands. I’m currently struggling with finding the concealer shade as they have changed their formula and looking for other options.
Violet FR products are very impressive. She makes products based on what she thinks is great and creative. I got the green eyeshadow and it has a lovely texture.

What i miss a little bit is the name of the products on the screen… i forget the name, the product and then your vid was one that i judt watched and wasn‘t as helpful as it actually is.
