The transitions in this are perfect. It gives a feeling that people like this are everywhere, and look just like a normal person, they just hide it very well...
I love the transitions. There is a connection between each movie scene - Christian cross, something moving to the right, behind the back shot, gun, close-up of face/colourful cinematography, flashing light on the face, sitting down and eating, walking forward, driving in a car, sitting cross-legged, walking in alleyway, someone wearing a suit, something obscuring the scene (water or a glass window), looking sad/dark cinematography
The ones I recognise immidiately are: True Detective, Mr. Robot, Joker, Blade Runner 2049, Fight Club, The end of the f**king world, Taxi Driver, Nightcrawler, you were never really there( I think), American Psycho, Sicario(I think), and Better Call Saul
I appreciate the vibe and aesthetic of literally me, I can relate because most people feel lonely at points in their lives. I look at these characters and see parts of myself within them because parts of these characters are literally me.
This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It’s me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you’d see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say “Yup, that’s me”. I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I’m assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I’ve found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It’s really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it’s almost like we’re identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?
Damn this hit hard, I took a break from dating and talking to people. Just focused on the bag for 2 years and got my own place now. I realised you’re pretty much on your own really. I see through peoples bullshit and when you call it out they don’t like it. When people trying to test me or play games I just get disappointed than being angry or insecure, doing that really effects people. Have had a few disrespectful people come back apologising because I didn’t put up with the bullshit. Can be lonely when you have self awareness skills and reading physiology books that have taught me how easily manipulated I was. Unintentionally too, I just accepted things like they were normal. Spiritual awakening was nuts. Being a man is tough. The world is harsh and unforgiving, no place for a boy.
@@IcedUp may I ask what books did you read, that you are taking about? I'm young, I need to know how not to be manipulated as easily as it can be done right now
The characters are literally perfect with their identification, they make you feel that you are not a weirdo that there are also people who feel the same as you and when you see their stories they help you not feel so alone and improve your way of life thanks to all those personalities that helped me in my worst moment, really thank you
I've watched this video a hundred time this week and I have come to release that this is edit has the strongest impact on me because it reflects my life and keep on seeing part of myself in every character and that song man, its like a drug. Not happy and not sad enough to cause you pain like being comfortable in your own darkness
People relate to them because despite being loners they seem to have some grand purpose and made something of themselves, something that people nowadays seem to struggle with
I feel you man. She ended things with me because she said she only liked me and never loved me. Never been the same since then. Something changed in me.
What I love about these is they're like a modern art collage and go to show how much emotion can be invoked in an image or video. It reminds me of why I love art and film, when art actually has some sort of meaning or is made by people who actually understand it's purpose. The marriage of the visual format and sound is the greatest achievement man has made. Conjuring a form of reality out of nothing, like god. Also listen to Pt. 2 by Mildred. I have to say that everywhere lol.
The reality of our world is that we are alone. Despite having friends. When our days are finished we are left alone with just our thoughts. Let that be okay 👌🏼 and allow yourself to be vulnerable with people including your pals. Doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong enough to speak about the truth. To speak the truth and not fear the world of anyone in it shows what sort of man you are
Depression is a bitch.😞 and the lack of meaning in life and the lack of fullfilment are too. To everyone how can relate I say that you'r not alone, especially during these times, and I hope you can find peace and happiness!

That’s why men and women are both needed. To not feel lonely. To keep each other company and functioning properly. Get a wife. Get a husband. Stay safe. Stay sharp.
Literally me, existing in a world that I don't understand, and living next to people who won't be interested in me until I'm useful to them. I am like a dark silhouette against the rising sun, a ghost wandering among mortals, staring blankly at their happiness.
We can relate to the damaged and hurt male character, because we feel their pain and it feels oddly familiar. Like a phantasm from another life we didn't know we lived.
I like how he picked up the moments for the transition, each transition from one character from one movie to another character from another movie is connected, if you look at it, for example, at 0:17, you can see how the detective from the series is near the cross in the church, and literally the next moment already begins with another movie, but in a similar place, even at first you don't notice that these are two different films, in this edit every transition is so connected if you delve into this topic, good job, you did it with a bang.
I feel like these characters bring out what we really are in the inside but we decide to change so as to fit in society now...can you believe that we're literally forgetting ourselves just to be loved.

@@smartwater598 Sure, they can be badasses, but if it's not that deep, then what's the point for these cinematic products to exist in the first place? For them to be widely discussed by both critics and fandoms alike? Afraid your take is quite shallow there, mate.

I appreciate the vibe and aesthetic of literally me, I can relate because most people feel lonely at points in their lives. I look at these characters and see parts of myself within them because parts of these characters are literally me.
Like when you fantasise about killing people? Murder prostitutes? Or when you shoot talk show hosts in the head?
"Life is a unbearable struggle, and we are here to bear it"
The way the transitions work is phenomenal. It's like they pass by the same places without knowing of the other's existence
The most comfort you can get out of these are the millions of others that feel the exact way as you, and you're not alone in that fact

Broken people are the strongest 💔
Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?
nothing goes harder than satirical commentary lol
Give me back my cookies, pirck

Literally me when I saw my brother die at war.
Things that never happened
The reality of our world is that we are alone. Despite having friends. When our days are finished we are left alone with just our thoughts. Let that be okay 👌🏼 and allow yourself to be vulnerable with people including your pals. Doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong enough to speak about the truth. To speak the truth and not fear the world of anyone in it shows what sort of man you are

Why go the easy way and buy sweets when you can bake them from scratch?
Cooking is such a meditative activity and it's really sad that it's still regarded as a weak hobby because it's more delicate and feminine.
