Thank-you for a great review, that was well done. I'm just very disappointed by how this Mothra design turned out. She's a Kaiju and the Queen of Monsters but she's too small , especially as a well done toy. Mothra's body is way too much like a piece of dried up beef jerky. She deserved to have a much thicker body as the largest Moths always have. Her body needed to be Amazon-Moth thick and sturdy, not a mosquito-wasp creature. Her modern design has legs that are way too long and mantis looking. It's as if the designers were literally trying way too hard to give her a female human body(the kind of cartoony body from Warner Bros' old cartoons) and stay focused on the fact she's a gigantic Goddess/Monster MOTH. There are so many missed opportunities. Thank goodness there are so many fan artists that have shared some AMAZING versions of Mothra.
This line makes me so happy I didn't opt to spend a fortune on the, in my opinion, somewhat inferior SHM figures. Can't wait to get Mothra, still waiting for BBTS to have it in stock!
