  • Australian singer/songwriter/musician Steve Prestwich wrote and recorded the song "Someone Caught My Eye" for his debut solo album "Since You've Been Gone" , a self-released album on his BiGBanG Productions Label (BB001) in the year 2000. Steve Prestwich was a foundation member of the Australian Rock Group "Cold Chisel" and would re join the band after their reformation in 1997 and would remain as their drummer until his death in 2011 at age 56 from a brain hemorrhage.
    When "Cold Chisel" reformed in 1997, they recorded an album "Last Wave Of Summer" which was released in 1998 on the Mushroom Label (MUSH 33165.2 ). During the recording sessions for this album, the Steve Prestwich penned song "Someone Caught My Eye" was recorded with Jimmy Barnes on lead vocals. The song didn't make it to the album but was later included on a re-issue "Collector's Edition" release in 2011 of the same album with additional tracks including "Someone Caught My Eye' released on the band's own label Cold Chisel Pty Ltd (5249871355).
