I bought the adapter instead, so i can still use it with my xbox
So the 3 black cable are connected to each other and the orange to the red of the power supply

I need help, my kinect only flash the green light and show message on kinect sdk "Plug my power cord in" and no function
It did it to me when I connected the Kinect for the first time. It stop doing that when you connect first the power and then to the usb of the pc
Is it possible to get an xbox camera to send wireless to a baby monitor via wiring xbox camera to bypass the baby camera? I guess the need for software would limit the features available?
In short with some twiks, it is possible but not worth the hassle.

It is possible but X-box camera has poor resolution.

4 pin USB 2.0 should work.
I have an adapter that outputs 12v and 2a, is it fine with the kinect 360?

My kinect flashes red 4 times then windows makes the default usb connected noise but the kinect isn't detected in any software. Any ideas?
if you still havent figured it out you need to download the kinect drivers

Brother I did whatever you asked and i keep getting this error ,the device manager says this error Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
A request for the USB device descriptor failed.
Unfortunately it only works with windows 7
There could be some way around, like working with raspberry Pi.

Hi, I want to conect my camera kinect to my computer, I added a PCI card USB 3.0 (with chip renesas - that is a requirement), but the computer doesn't recognize the camera. The configuration test detect that USB port is not supported. What should I do? the power adapter is 12 volt, 1.67 amperes. Can you help me solve this problem?

My pc has USB 2.0 and it works. My Kinect is version 1473, I don't know if that has anything to do with it
