Motel 6 locations represent the saying "You get what you pay for." If you are too cheap to stay in a premium hotel, you'll have to accept the fact that a low price per night means you get a nasty room with unwashed sheets, roaches hiding in the walls, and crimes being committed on and around the property. I know for a fact that the maid does only the minimum work in rooms after people check out. If the sheets look clean, they are not going to go through the trouble of removing them and putting them in the washing machine. Getting the room ready for the next person as quickly as possible takes priority over making sure the room has been thoroughly cleaned.

I haven’t stayed in a Motel 6 since the late 1990s. Super 8 was just too musty for me to stay. Why don’t you join Priceline or some other company that offers discounted hotel and motel prices? There are Airbnb daily rentals for a room or a house which are very reasonably priced that you could stay.
All those sites like that that pop up on google with discounted rates end up charging you extra and won’t let you see what the other charges are. Might as well just book it directly.

Not the blacklight!!!! 😮😂
Yeah. Motel 6 went down the hill when they decided to franchise. When it was a small privately owned company they were decent.
Lamont , Why do you continue with the Motel 6 ? You have the money. Try a Hampton Inn or even a comfort Inn . This doesn’t make any sense . I probably would have stopped at a restaurant stop on the interstate, gotten a bite to eat and then caught a few hours sleep in the truck . A bent up screen , roaches . Sounds to me like the place I want to sleep.
Yeah..... that's good thinking "what there was someone handycap who needs it"
Stop looking for motel 6 they are all bad.id stay in my car and shower at a truck stop before a motel 6
Red Roof Inns aren’t any better.
You're brave Lamont. I could never stay at places like this, especially by myself. I don't travel a whole lot, but when I do, I normally stay in fancier more expensive hotels primarily for my safety and security.
Lamont does not have to stay there so we don’t have to. We already know they are dumps.
Hi Lamont! Great video! You mentioned that most of the cars at that Motel 6 in Fresno looked like they belong to people who live in the motel. What if those actually belonged to travellers who can only afford certain types of cars? I can see if they're hoarders in those cars. That's a different story.
New family game in our house... Clean everything like you know Lamont is heading over with his blacklight for a stay..if there's a stain you owe a $5 cleaning fine. 😂
This is exactly why I never stay anywhere when I’m travelling except Hilton or Marriot. About $50-$75 more per night but worth it in my opinion.
I didnt see one OLD and junky car. LoL.. All were newer than 08's except the 4 runner, but theres a brand new nice civic, brand new Durango , and more :D
I love some things about my city bakersfield because i've grew up here but was born in the Bay area but i can tell you alot of places have changed and they have added so many Highways but the hotels and motels here are hit and miss. I hope to run into you one day and say hello Lamont i would love to give you an interview if that was an option. God Bless
Only thing good from Bako..Is the band KoRn!!!
