wow Im a fan of all of OneArmys projects. and I love these reports of pp initiatives and people around the world 😍 and what a great role model that girl is for other girls in indonesia!
So inspiring! This is the challenge; to take something considered so worthless that it is thoughtlessly discarded, and turn it into something of utility and beauty.
Having been a follower of Precious Plastic for some time now I've been longing to see such a video ! What an accomplishment !! Congrats to Precious Plastic and to Robries ! Hope to see more like ! Incredible how Niam doesn't brag about herself, while she could.
Guys, i love the video!! And it’s much needed. I’m not sure why the previous Precious plastic channel was abandoned with over 1 subs. Surely releasing this on that channel will make it reach many more people. Keep up the great work 😊😊
- the sanding process cost maybe cheaper by using a manual triangle belt sander which is used in furniture industry taught to us by our Japanese buyer - the heating might use a combination between gas (precise melting) & wood pellet stove (rough melting).
What a powerfull and inspiring woman! We are going to try and start a @precious_plastic Collecting and manufactering program in El Salvador in 2 months.
precious plastic please am inspired by this story, I have started collecting plastic from basic schools in my country. I want you guys to take me through the making of the sheet. how I will be able to make it with my oven. should I grand the plastic bags and melt them? pour it a meta mold sheet? and press before allowing it to cool. in short, can you share a short video on the process? thank you
this is very cool. but i can't get over all the plastic dust from sanding. that's unacceptable. at a minimum they need better dust collection. but really they need to find a better way to finish the slabs without sanding. incredibly tedious, degrading, and polluting work. i'm curious if they know what to do but just don't have the money to invest, or if this is an unsolved problem for their location. this is the fundamental problem with most plastics. they become unacceptable particles of durable pollution. wood, metal, stone -- rare to have this problem. common plastics -- many steps of manufacturing create unacceptable waste. i know it's less than 1kg per 1000kg, but i have done jobs sanding noxious materials for days on end, it's not an ok way to do business. there are other ways to get the same or better result.
All due respect to you Sir a coincidence is better than a thousand appointments Can I ask you for a ride service Miss Nia because I am trying to do the same project I am a Muslim from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
@@Precious_PlasticHQ Yes, seems that the way they work isn't the best to allow a correct collecing system. My major concern is about the particles coming from abrasives.
This is great! Great for our planet and great for people. I’d like to know her net. 😊 I’d also like the know how safe it is for workers breathing in the dust and fumes? 🤔
sanding those sheets created a loads of microplastic and the workers are not wearing adequate protection masks, its a shame if she really makes that amount of cash and doesen't care about her workers safety. and waste management of micro plastic dust..
I can't overstate the importance of demonstration/documentation of success stories, such as this. Grateful- but we NEED more. Keep up the good work!
Way more to come.. and the success stories are mind-blowing ♡ Stay tuned
Guys please collect micro plastic generated here its tremendous !!

I am in Jamaica, and most small Caribbean islands have really high energy and fuel costs. What percentage of Niam's costs is energy/gas?

Thank u for the good work lady
I love how their recycled products looks a lot like marble smoothly. But another major concern is microplastic dusts as the residual product.

Good innovation and technique. What happens to the emissions resulting from the plastics when heated in the oven?

Tell her to buy a system to collect all those microplastics...
They do collect microplastic and reprocess them. But indeed as Niam confirmed the process could/should be improved.
