Hey Rock and Rally! I hope that y'all are doing amazing! I know I haven't been in the chatzone because of school but I graduate on the 13th with my masters! My dad Rufus "the original road crew" has been in the hospital over a month but he's doing real good! Hopefully I'll get to see you at the Joe Lopez show this weekend on the island (if you're going)!

I have a question. Rock, are you actually singing in Techno Cumbia? I saw the video of you and AB doing the "rap" part of the song. Is your voice on the actual recording? I've always wondered that..
I had to learn some Spanish to understand Selena's music. The translation to the rap part of Techno Cumbia is hilarious. Still one of my favorite songs ever. The CD lives in my CD player in my truck. I never take it out..

Yes There was one time at a music festival in Harlingen Texas that Selena put me on the spot on stage during the song and made me do the rap and I blew it on stageand forgot the words. lol. Everyone laughed lol. It was hilarious. Selena and I had this game going where we would put each other on the spot lol. I sure do miss her. Wish we could kick back together today and reminisce with her about all the fun times.

I can't help but be a little jealous of anyone who knew her. I used to binge watch her video's. I've saw most of them many times but I've always wished the camera would keep rolling after the music ends. Ya know. I never knew of her during her lifetime but I'll dang sure love her the rest of mine. And I'm not one to follow bands or singers either. Ever. Just her. And i defiantly never learned another language to understand a singers music either. But she got in. I guess I'm a movie fan. Some don't like us. But the movie only taught me who she was. Once i learned how amazing she was inside, i was hooked. Loved her for about 25 years now. My absolute dream vacation would be to go to Corpus and sit down and listen to anyone who knew her, see her stuff there and maybe even watch a rare video. One day.. 💃

Selena Quintanillas story stands as the cornerstone foundation of the present day Human Rights/Anti-Human traffickicking, forced career, and Social Justice movements in a technologically advanced society. The modern day entertainment industry in particular the music industry as well as various communication and communications media have also been largely founded by those present involved in the production of these events which stand as a most severe matter. We see here in every instance the forced nature of the career of every female artist as well as others on hand in the most physically intrusive manners; who appear in this tejano so called racially commercialized and community destroying endeavour. Which has effectively silenced the voices of entire communities and the human rights movement as a whole. This behavior has continued till present day, simultaneously we see those personally accountable for what truly is a human catastrophe for all society as a whole and brazenly promotes complicity to an already at risk population. The abusive tactics used to intimidate persons vulnerable like Selena Quintanilla highlights the need for immediate societal education. Education on forced relationships, which clearly begets the norm here, and crime free atmospheres which are needed in an advanced tech society faced with long term accountability. Even one such instance resembling what we see here such as that of Ariana Grande has been globally lambasted for offensive volatility, why is this still being allowed in global silence here.
