Increased Purchasing Power: When the Japanese yen is weak compared to other currencies, foreign visitors find their money stretches further. This means they can afford more experiences, souvenirs, or accommodations for the same amount of their home currency.
Tourism Boost: A weak yen often encourages tourism as it becomes more affordable for travelers from countries with stronger currencies to visit Japan. This influx of tourists can lead to a vibrant atmosphere in tourist destinations, with more activities, events, and cultural exchanges.
Shopping Spree: With a weak yen, shopping becomes a particularly enticing activity for foreign visitors. They may find luxury goods, electronics, and other items priced more attractively compared to their home countries, leading to increased spending in local shops and malls.
Dining Delights: Dining out in Japan can be a highlight for many travelers, and with a weak yen, foreign visitors may find dining at restaurants more affordable. They might explore a wider range of dining options, from street food stalls to high-end restaurants, enjoying the culinary delights Japan has to offer.
Overall Satisfaction: A happy foreign visitor in Japan during a period of weak yen might experience a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. They're able to immerse themselves more fully in the culture, explore more attractions, and create lasting memories without worrying as much about budget constraints.
Overall, a weak Japanese yen can contribute to a positive and memorable experience for foreign visitors exploring Japan's rich culture, history, and attractions.

Excellent work on the video camera operation. Very smooth as well as the highest resolution. The text at the beginning was a real bonus and really enhanced the video as well. Love the cosplay people appearing often in a very casual way. it was great.. Also, the imagery was top quality.

To those who are wondering about Daniel who was a major supporter of the community and Japan Explorer's videos.....as of recently he's no longer with us. He sadly passed away with the cause of death being unknown. Rest in peace to the guy, and I hope the rickshaw brought him to the afterlife. Goodbye, friend. We miss you.

The other way around that whole low yen thing is, yes, it's cheaper for most of us to travel to Japan at a low rate. However, I live in Hawaii and tourists are our main revenue. The Japanese are a big part of our tourism here. In a way it kind of sucks for the Japanes wanting to travel when their yen is down and even when it's up it's harder and much more costly because of currency conversion.

Did you know.. Japanese women typically have small feet with the average shoe size being between 23 and 24.5 which is US size 6-8. This statistic suggests that, on average, Japanese women have relatively smaller feet compared to women in other parts of the world.-7 Feb 2024
