To those who are wondering about Daniel who was a major supporter of the community and Japan Explorer's videos.....as of recently he's no longer with us. The other way around that whole low yen thing is, yes, it's cheaper for most of us to travel to Japan at a low rate. However, I live in Hawaii and tourists are our main revenue. The Japanese are a big part of our tourism here. In a way it kind of sucks for the Japanes wanting to travel when their yen is down and even when it's up it's harder and much more costly because of currency conversion.
