  • I had this board for years with a T.C. Electronic G-System. When it died, I took it to Dave Phillips for a serious update. He killed it as always. If you're in L.A. and need some custom work done on a board, Dave is your man!! Lord Bless You Real Good, and Stay Funky!!!

You are truly a genius sir
    I am a keyboard l/bassist
But my rhythm guitar isn’t too shabby thanks to your video and many hours practicing JB grooves.
I wish your channel going i wish you continued success in all that you do.
By the way that’s a lot of pedals
    I don’t use any thing
But that’s probably because I haven’t evolved yet towards the end it sounded so sweet. But I have been so programmed by your video I like keeping my sonic space as small as possible.

Discovered you through an interview with Vertex. I've heard the songs you've played on, of course, but was unaware of your name. Amazing playing!

Hey, Paul. Love your solo work as well as your studio work for people like Jon Anderson, Michael Jackson, Ray Parker Jr. etc. You are an amazing guitarist and very inspiring! I was wondering what your thoughts were on '80s pop music from Japan with artists Tatsuro Yamashita and Toshiki Kadomatsu, as the chords and progressions are very jazzy and epic, would you ever make an album with artists from there?
    Also do you teach?

Love the tone of the overdrive - kind of EJ, but with more articulation.

Thank you much. I’d love to make music with some of those guys. And yes, I do teach, although now, it’s only at USC. That may change very soon. Lord bless you, and thanks for reaching out.

Hi Paul i own the same Switcher. The sound is very transparent. And i like how it adds a little something special to the pedals. I really like your pedals....Now i can't wait for Stories From Stompin' Willie part 2. Try adding the Friedman Buffer 1st in the signal chain. Made all the colors stand out clear....Cheers..

Great!!! Thank you. Dave Philips has an interface box that contains a great buffer. The new project will be called “More Stories”, and will be out mid 2020. Lord bless you, Miguel.

Tim Nienhuis, mainly for the modulation, delay and, reverb effects.

Hey Tim. Mainly for modulation effects and delay. But I also Use the compressor section to compress the sound as a returns from the amplifier preamp section.
