I've never replaced a tire before, so I was slightly panicked on what to do. Thank you so much, friend. This was very clear and it helped me keep a clear head.
Hey, we got a flat tire today and my 15 yr.old son who had never changed a tire watched this video and followed it step by step. 5 STARS!!! Thank you very much for your helpful video!!! My son even said, Mama, make sure you give that guy a good review/comment. 😁
A real life saver. I feel like I actually earned the beer I bought when my tire got flat and I came to this video for help. Drive safe, kids, and don't be ashamed to look up what you need help with.
Just what I needed, thank you! Background music is torture for anyone with hearing challenges so I used closed-caption and watched it once to read and again to see what you were doing. Otherwise perfect!
You know, I didn't consider that actually. I'll start putting my own captions on these tutorial videos to make them as accessible as possible. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank God for your video! I was able to change my flat tire today all by myself! Thank you for making your video short and very easy to follow instructions. Kudos to you on your highly informational video!
Replacing the tires on my 2018 Corolla SE. To replace it with the ones on their now from the dealership (Firestone FR740) is $800-$1000. Any body got a suggestion for a good quality tire to purchase, that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
While I was trying to tighten the bolts on the tire the jack slipped and my car fell but it didn’t seem like it messed anything up. Do you think I should be fine? On the way home the car felt like it was driving fine. Maybe the slightest bit more bumpy but I assume that’s because it’s a spare. I’m just stressing out so much I just got this car.
If my screws you are referring to the lug nuts, there's a chance that the wheel may be fused to the hub. Give the tire a firm kick with your heel and that should dislodge it
For the life of me I could not get that damn spare tire cap off, nor could 2 other guys no matter what we tried. The plastic had worn on my 2016 and the plastic part was spinning in place, not gripping the nut. Very frustrating after the unexpected flat I got a few hours ago.
@@gustavorazo3211 the threads on the screw were rusted bc I'd never taken the spare out. I don't remember exactly how I got the long screw out, but once I got it out I replaced it with a new one. I took it to the dealership or a mechanic to remove the screw holding the spare tire in place, I believe.
Kevin And His Car so I found, according to another video, it servers as an adaptor for a floor jack. It also requires the two different jack points under the car.
Thanks for that - I learned something but ... you seem to use excessive power to tighten the nuts - using your foot even for extra leverage! Phew! Not sure about the wisdom of that particularly if you had to get the nuts off again by hand.
This tutorial assumes that you are stuck on the side of the road and don't have a torque wrench handy haha. Better tight than having them fall off while driving
The music kept me uplifted even though I was on the side of the road with a flat tire.
I hope the video was helpful in this situation!
@@KJs_Garage should the front tire spin freely while jacked ?
Me too hun

Thankkkkkkk youuuuu sooooo much. I’m 50 kgs it was so hard to get nuts off I started crying, but I got my tyre changed thanks to you
Putting your body weight on the wrench usually does the trick! Now be sure to get your tire repaired, as your spare is only good for about 50 miles!
@@KJs_Garage will do thanks, the spare doesn’t have rim, looks jacked up haha thanks for your time and video A++
Thanks. Every step worked awesome on my 2009 Corolla.
took me 5 minutes, thank you for saving me some time!!

It also counts as weight reduction for the spare, the carpet, and the tools. About 35 ibs removed giving ur car 3 horsepower
Does removing weight add horsepower? Is that how that works now?
Kevin And His Car yep
Kevin And His Car also 10 ibs= 1 hp
This video was very helpful. But I still couldn’t do it my bolts won’t even loosen and I’ve already lifted it a bit with the jack.
Thank you!!
I appreciate this video. This helped me today. Thank you so much!
great video buddy, helpful.. !
Good video.

Ah yes, the one tire that's not stuck on after removing the nuts. 😂
I knew I forgot to loosen the lug nuts before I got it up

Is it just me or did he say remember to remove the lugnuts from the h03
Why talking wheel and no video like
So what do you do when the plastic POS thingy holding the spare tire is stripped and you can’t get it off?
I took all the screws out lifted it and it still won’t come out. Help plz

I would imagine you’d have to go to a Toyota dealer to have the tire replaced, correct? Since it has the rim with the Toyota emblem?
Any tire shop can replace your tire
@@KJs_Garage Sorry, I meant the rim with the Toyota logo on it

What is the small black (cup looking) tool used for?
It's included in the tool kit for the Corolla, I assume it's to make sure that the lug nuts stay in one place?
Kevin And His Car so I found, according to another video, it servers as an adaptor for a floor jack. It also requires the two different jack points under the car.
It's to jack up the rear end with a floor jack
W human
Tyyyyy
The tire looks like the tire of the toyota 86(?)
I practice with my gf car
