Pricey! Still building all wood?
All wood is correct! It is pricey to be there and very early on. Once that Marina is open you will see why it’s priced the way it is. I remember the same thing happening in Lake Nona.
I don’t understand why they keep building all these new housing with no infrastructure in place? And I live in North Florida right now and I was thinking about moving to the Walt Disney area because I’m constantly down there using my annual pass. But then I found out that for some reason Orlando doesn’t realize that it’s a city built on tourism and y’all sun rail doesn’t operate on the weekend? And it doesn’t go to the airport. Who in the hell built a rail system that only operates Monday through Friday basically 8 to 5 it seems like. Don’t you understand your whole city is built on tourism how do you not have a rail system that goes to the airport and all of your theme parks? And now there will be subdivisions with no rail system. What are the bike pads like? Can you drive a golf cart? And get somewhere Important like the grocery store or doctors office or the schools or a movie theater? Restaurants? Cause I don’t own a car I live at the beach right now and I’m not trying to buy one just so I can get back-and-forth to the store. America really needs more options. Especially for all the younger people that are buying houses and I’m not super young I’m in my 40s. But we want different options. I wish homebuilders and city planners would start listening to this
A lot of the time I tell people that move out here that they need a car. There are some “walkable” neighborhoods, but you’re right as a whole you def need a car in Orlando. As far as the SunRail, it was meant for the locals and not tourist. I went to City Walk the other day and parking was $30! That may have something to do with, but I wish I was better at math. At the end of the day, Sunbridge is hailing itself as the “naturehood” of the future. Right now as it stands if you live there you are ahead of the ball curve.
Over hyped. The traffic is the worst Narcoossee rd. 🤮 Then Cyril road is one lane each way for 10 minutes before you get to sunbridge. Super strange to have town homes and million dollars homes inside same neighborhood and can only fit two cars on the drive way. Never understood why people are ok with 40 foot lots.
It’s no secret that the traffic near Lake Nona is horrendous. I saw a stat that showed 30% of the people moving into and around Lake Nona work from home. I can only imagine what would happen if that trend stops.
As far as the small lot comment. The same thing was said about Laureate Park back when they started. You had $800k homes next to $400k homes. It worked out there and Tavistock just doubled down on the concept!
@@RealOrlandoLiving wow that’s an interesting stat 30% from home Jesus that’s a lot of people. I left LP in 2019 neighborhood was too crowded. If only people demand more land and bigger driveway space from builders it would create such a nicer environment. It’s so ghetto looking having cars park both sides of the roads and now the roadway is basically a one way. St. Cloud/HW will look identical to Avalon park some great neighborhoods surrounding by some neighborhoods in distress. It’s sad there’s no true parks in St. Cloud or HW my coworkers always can’t believe there realtors didn’t mention Dr Phillips or Hunter Creek when shopping around. Now there stuck in St. Cloud or HW yes there older communities but there better established. My coworker lives in eagle creek and is pissed his son is going to meridian high school next year 15 minutes away when lake Nona is right in front. Issue like that people don’t even realize with newer communities lol.
@@JjHernandez-dc6ul you hit it right on the head. Something I didn’t mention about Sunbridge is the High School situation. Right now if you have a kid in high school they are bused to Harmony High School which is a 17 mile commute to school. When people are looking where to live there are 1000s of variable to determine the best choice. In my experience there were two different types of buyers , those that okay with renovating properties to the liking and those that wanted something new. Most of the people that moved out to St Cloud and HW wanted something new. Dr Phillips and Hunters Creek are great areas it’s a shame that your colleagues never looked into it!
this broke dude is on every video hating on lake nona because he cannot afford it, and then went somewhere else to praise Hunters creek. Fun thing to do for fun: go on Google and search "Hunters Creek crime and shootings" and you will find lots of articles over the last 2 years. Nobody with a decent net worth and making 6 figures-millions would leave a top 3 community in Orlando, Lake Nona, for crime-ridden, abandoned areas like Hunters Creek. The internet exposes people with mental illness who try to convince themselves of their bad financial choices.
you really spent hours going on a bunch of lake nona videos to promote "hunters creek". Fun thing to do for you: go on google and search "hunters creek crime" and have fun counting the number of shootings that have happened in the last 2 years.
sorry you cannot afford lake nona. nobody making 6 figures-millions per year would seriously consider leaving a top 3 area, lake nona, for abandoned hunters creek. what a joke.
