- On our 2nd day at Vero beach we were determined to explore not only the resort but explore Vero Beach itself. I saw from reading online there is a downtown area to Vero Beach and we wanted to see what that was like and have lunch somewhere maybe the "locals" would go. We loved exploring the cute downtown area. Although small it was packed with character and sweet little shops as well as eateries. We decided on Red Onion Eatery and whoa are we glad we did! It was so delicious and hit the spot for lunch. After eating we explored the public park across the street and the public beach access. Vero Beach is a hidden gem! It’s low key and was a great place to relax and unwind. It was the best birthday weekend ever! Resort is pretty, staff were nice/thoughtful, food was delicious and my company was amazing 😍

Wow Vero Beach looks so lovely! What a gorgeous sunrise. Love the Timelapse you took. Love seeing around the resort too. I had t he same Starbucks tumbler as you Tiff but I broke mine and was devastated LOL! That hammock looks sooo comfy. Nice pool area! That cinnamon bun (sorry **Dave's birthday bun LOL!) looks sooo good. Those fries look really gooood and so crispy. The sassy is a fun name for a sandwich! Lovely park and overall area. Great tour as always! :)
Vero Beach was so pretty! I wished we had more time to explore some more but maybe in the future we can go back. Oh no! That stinks about your tumbler! The food at The Red Onion was so good! I definitely would like to go back there someday. I’d love to try to recreate that sandwich at home. 😊💕
what a beautiful sunrise! I always have intentions of getting up early on vacationer things like that but I never seem to make it. total with it! I love the hidden Mickey in the water. Dave knows his game consoles I would LOVE to be there when the sea turtles hatch. There really doesn't look like there are several things to do there. Super chill resort! The Red Onion look delicious! 💖
I would love to be there when the sea turtles hatch too. That would be so cool to see. There were daily activities and such at the resort but not enough to keep us busy for a whole week. I’d like to stay 3-4 days but prob no more than that. I would like to explore a little more of the area. Since we only had one day to explore we felt we ran out of time. I didn’t want to be late for our dinner reservation 🤪
Everything about this resort looks amazing! The sunset was beautiful, but I bet that alarm going off for it was not… 😂

What a beautiful resort! It looks like a perfect beach getaway spot. I feel bad about it... but we never wake up in time to see sunrises when we are staying at the beach. We always say we are going to - but then we just stay in bed. We were more successful at watching sunsets when we were at the beach in Southern California. So glad to see yall both made it up for sunrise. The amenities and grounds at this resort all look so well done. I don't see much about this place that screams "Disney" but that is pretty nice and plays into a more relaxed vibe than staying at their resorts near the parks. Thanks for taking us along as you explore!
Oh trust me when I say I was on a struggle bus forcing myself to wake up for that sunrise but I was so glad I did and convinced Dave to follow me out. We are more sunset type people too. Definitely not early risers haha. I would like to go back during “busy” season just to see what it’s like. I imagine it’s hard to get a room but we may get lucky. It’s very subtle Disney touches here and there but the customer service was out of this world here! We got in late on that Friday but during the day Saturday every time you walked into the lobby there were cast members waiting to great you, answering questions, saying hello and welcome home, it was really nice 😊.

We were staying at the Disney Vero Beach Resort. It’s so beautiful in Vero Beach. We live close to Orlando so a little over an hour from here. 😊💕
