It's a percentage game. When two guys are this good and this close, of course training is number one BUT everyone trains hard and smart. The deal breaker, the 1% thing, the difference that can mean being able to sprawl properly one last time at 18 minutes in to the match, is fuel in the tank. Nutrition doesn't make a difference for very small percentage of people for a very small period of time. For the rest you gotta get the right fuel. Weight, strength, speed, skill, training intensity, will, hunger and all that being about the same, the nutrition can be the deal breaker.
