Great episode again guys. I have had my PG Red Frame since last Holidays and haven't built it yet, I have no place to dispaly it yet. Seeing the Red Frame makes me more excited to build it. More power and till the next build.
Cheaper High Grade Gundam models to practice your skills on are always the safest bet. Pick one you like the look of so you're enthusiastic about it. It's a matter of preference but I think it's easiest to build a few HGs before trying out Master Grades and/or Real Grades, as they are more complicated. Military kits tend to require painting and gluing (check Brian's Boss Build episodes for him building a tank) so are much more time-intensive than a snap-fit Gundam kit.
The exclusives are preorder only through the Bandai online shop, they don't sell them to distributors like their normal stuff. The only way for HLJ to do it would be to act as a shopping service which is a very different style of business so impractical to implement I imagine.
I'd probably ride a zaku 2 or something because i probably wont be able to handle the force and stuff with high speed kit...... but if i can handle it, sinanju. Awsome show guys !!!
My first gundam build was the RG RX-78-2. Built it with no problems. My next was the RG Zeta. Built it with no problems too. I recently just built my first MG, the Jesta. What would you recommend as a second
Hmm, does look wrong with the blade edge down in the scabbard, should be up to keep it sharp. Or does the holder not allow the scabbard from being put in correctly?
dude, get the strike and skygrasper. if you get the 00 without the stand its just a huge balancing problem. they are both awesome, but because the 00 has a whole jet in its back it can't be properly displayed without a stand.
Kit Bashing is always fun!!! I wanted to Get The MK 2, But now I think i want to get the astray first!!! Im thinkin of bashing the Zoids HMM Geno Breaker With PG Astray!!! XD Mellee centric but still With some decent range!!! Beam rifle and charged particle cannon Sweetness lol
hey Syd, Ryan! Cool EP as always! Really liked the extra info Syd gave about the GerberaStraight, I'm also very fascinated by Japanese swords although i must say I haven't done as much reading-up on them as I should. Anyway you mentioned you might show a kotobukiya kit next EP and I thought I'd ask if you guys would also feature the [Frame Arms 1/100 NSG-X2 Hresvelgr=Ater]. It says back-ordered in HLJ, dunno if dat means you dnt hav it in stock. If you do please show it to us! Thanks!
Scratch that, took a closer look and the ankles are properly placed. Doesn't detract though that his building methods are frustrating. In the time he spent "winging" those hands he could have consulted the manual and actually built the hands properly and it would have taken less time.
Hey Sid I am getting into hobbying and I bought the gundam starter set, is there any other sets you recommend in general for people beginning this hobby I'm also looking into military kits
isn't the the Gerbera Strait point suppose to be pointed down and not upwards? I have heard somewhere that the katana's end should be pointed downward as a method on preventing your opponents on how you are gonna attack them,,
Hi guys,I wanted to know what are your thoughts on the new gunpla line for the new anime series and after seeing some of the designs from the show which is your favorite? I'm liking the gundam X and strike
Hi Syd and Ryan, I have every MG Zeon grunt suit, but I'm not quite sold on the Geara Doga. My problem with it is actually relevant to the theme of this episode, the hands. I am very big on pose-able hands and I'm disappointed that it won't feature them, considering the recent Feddie suits have PG quality hands. Do you think in the future they will release a new version of the Geara Doga, possibly a Unicorn version that has new pose-able hands from either the MG Sazabi or Zaku 3.0?
I've always found that Eva units just do not translate well into models because underneath all the armor, Evas are flesh, and not all mechanical like a mobile suit.
Hey Syd and Ryan! Awesome show as always just wondering why don't you guys(HLJ) sell bandai exclusive kits like the expansion sets and limited edition gunpla kits?
Great episode, was really cool. I was wondering if there was going to be another competition and if so when? Also i wanted to ask the question, since I'm from the UK can i still purchase gunpla from the HobbyLinkJapan website? Thanks Oli
Hi guys, great episode! I'm really excited to get the new RG's coming soon and would like to watch their anime before I build them. Which series is the GP01 from?
The Gundam GP-01, GP-01fb, GP-02A and GP-03S are all from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, a nice stand-alone Gundam series that helps fill in the gap between Gundam 0079 and 0080: War In The Pocket and the later series Gundam Zeta.
Luke is still credited at the end of the episodes; did ye just never change the text, or is it because he created the intros and outros that ye thought ye should leave his name there?
The 'Kai' version of the Red Astray comes with two katanas, as well as the huge Tactical Sword; the Tactical Sword is available separately, but as far as I am aware, you'll need to buy another Red Astray to get a second katana (I did so to make the Kai variant, before the new Perfect Grade was released). That might change if they release a supplementary set.
Yeah, painting a Perfect Grade is really only good for bringing out the mechanical details on the framework, all the colored parts that need to be colors are the correct color
No there aren't, but god I wish there were. I'd buy one, but e question is, which Jegan in the U.C. timeline would it be modeled after? Because each Jegan is slightly different in appearance you know?
Wtf the gp01 ankle guards are on backwards. Ryan is such a frustrating modeller to watch. He's got access to so many cool kits some of us could only dream to afford or get our hands on and he just mucks them up. I actually feel a bit of pitty for his sdf and this gp01.
Thumbs up for showing us that the PG Aile Strike pack can be made to fit into the PG Red Frame
for the old PG the inner frame is very well detailed. all those mechanisms are impressive.
This vid really made me fall in love with the red astray PG
Great episode again guys. I have had my PG Red Frame since last Holidays and haven't built it yet, I have no place to dispaly it yet. Seeing the Red Frame makes me more excited to build it. More power and till the next build.
I just came back from college and I click on YT and I saw this video~ Nice Timing XD
Hi guys- great show. Ryan- those are magazines. A clip is a device that feeds a magazine.

i think the PG Astray Red Frame looks cool!!!looking forward to your future episodes especially the 2 GP01 RGs... :)
This episode is HUGE, tell'em Ryan!
The exclusives are preorder only through the Bandai online shop, they don't sell them to distributors like their normal stuff. The only way for HLJ to do it would be to act as a shopping service which is a very different style of business so impractical to implement I imagine.
Aile Astray looks awesome.
Hey Cid, Ryan.
I really want to ask.
Should I get the PG strike with skygrasper? Or should I settle for the PG 00 gundam? Love your show.
Thanks
I'd probably ride a zaku 2 or something because i probably wont be able to handle the force and stuff with high speed kit...... but if i can handle it, sinanju. Awsome show guys !!!
nice episode guys
i would love to see an exclusive flight unit for PG Red Frame
hey syd and ryan i think that swords are pretty awesome i actually do kendo so im quite familiar with swords too
My first gundam build was the RG RX-78-2. Built it with no problems. My next was the RG Zeta. Built it with no problems too. I recently just built my first MG, the Jesta. What would you recommend as a second
I'm new to this channel, and oh so you are syd! the guy who runs guijin gunpla blog!
RYAN YOUR DAUGHTER WILL WATCH THIS SHOW KEEP IT PG... get it pg
Hmm, does look wrong with the blade edge down in the scabbard, should be up to keep it sharp. Or does the holder not allow the scabbard from being put in correctly?
Hello cid&ryan, it would be cool gor HLJ TV to have its own iphone/android app ! That would boom discussions up I think !

Dear jjx something something something
I would recommend the mg red frame.
Scratch that, took a closer look and the ankles are properly placed. Doesn't detract though that his building methods are frustrating. In the time he spent "winging" those hands he could have consulted the manual and actually built the hands properly and it would have taken less time.

What paint is best suited for astray red, metallic red or gloss red? What do you guys think?
I've always found that Eva units just do not translate well into models because underneath all the armor, Evas are flesh, and not all mechanical like a mobile suit.
Same lol... The first of my not-quite WIP gunpla.
Is there a way to put in the Gerbera Straight on the waist upside-down? I think I saw rrobbert184 ask a samurai on proper sword placement.
Hey Syd and Ryan! Awesome show as always just wondering why don't you guys(HLJ) sell bandai exclusive kits like the expansion sets and limited edition gunpla kits?
Dear Syd and Ryan sorry if I spelled ur names wrong but I was wondering which I should get mega size zaku (regular ver) or mega size rx-78-2
I just found my 1st PG THANKS to you guys. Red Astray with the Aile Strike back. Also could I get more swords?
3:37 LOL!
Great episode, was really cool. I was wondering if there was going to be another competition and if so when? Also i wanted to ask the question, since I'm from the UK can i still purchase gunpla from the HobbyLinkJapan website? Thanks Oli
Dear Syd and Ryan,nice PG.Should I buy a MG V dash gundam ver.ka or a X-1 crossbone gundam ver.ka
Real grade all the way for me
What if we buy 2 of the of the astray red frame PG kits? Would one be able to hold two on its waist?
ARGH I WANT ANOTHER PERFECT GRADE BUT I NEED AN AIRBRUSH MORE :OOOO
Stop making me throw my money at my screen!
Dear Syd and Ryan please wander I would like to ask if I could go to hobbylink on about July 22 or 23rd and if I can where is it ?
It would be cool to have an app.
Your red frame totally shat, on the gpo1 zephyranthes. Hahahahaahha
I like the 00 series, and it's anime counterpart.
Hi guys, great episode! I'm really excited to get the new RG's coming soon and would like to watch their anime before I build them. Which series is the GP01 from?

how do you guys feel about the "00" series
Could you guys do the pg 00 raiser?
Would it not? :) I would gladly pay for a HL TV app, like that we could follow all the groups and keep in touch even if we're not on our PCs *_*
We will be having a competition soonish, stay tuned for details. Yes, you can buy from hlj.com.
Luke is still credited at the end of the episodes; did ye just never change the text, or is it because he created the intros and outros that ye thought ye should leave his name there?
it's goin in!, it's goin in , you dirty dirty man ! lol great sh! t
Dear Syd and Ryan
Which gundam do you want to see as a 1/1 scale?
is it possible to get a second sword for the red frame pg
The 'Kai' version of the Red Astray comes with two katanas, as well as the huge Tactical Sword; the Tactical Sword is available separately, but as far as I am aware, you'll need to buy another Red Astray to get a second katana (I did so to make the Kai variant, before the new Perfect Grade was released). That might change if they release a supplementary set.
Did you paint your PG? Does PG look good without painting it?
yes i guess
Yeah, painting a Perfect Grade is really only good for bringing out the mechanical details on the framework, all the colored parts that need to be colors are the correct color
12:25 lol nailed it
10:15. maybe you can set him up with the nobel gundam. but she can get angry
I was a little disappointed that the guy put the GP01's ankle armor on backwards… >.>
Why does the video keep lagging and become pixelated only on this video and not the others?!
the gun look more like a burst fire than an smg
Thanks for reading my comment, it's greatly appreciated. Now I must stop watching UA-cam videos and get back to my plan!
are there any PG Jegan kits?
No there aren't, but god I wish there were. I'd buy one, but e question is, which Jegan in the U.C. timeline would it be modeled after? Because each Jegan is slightly different in appearance you know?
to long, but I will buy the red frame cause of this video game
hey there, do u have PG Abyss gundam? i wanna see it
There aren't any pg abyss Gundam.
Bandai only makes Lead gundams when it comes to Perfect grades.
Not kit, i meant suit/ gundam
fail on the hand contruction. :)

Can you do a clip or video about the wing zero custom pg 1/ 60. It's my favorite gundam.
