So many guys that could work out, but hard to tell who'll actually translate to the next level. Can't remember a more wide open draft in recent memory. Obviously Sarr's a no brainer if he's an option. Interested to see if Sheppard's defense and scoring ability work against the length of the NBA. Love Holland's athleticism and I think he could thrive off ball in our squad, but the shooting and decision making has to come along at least a little bit. Buzelis seems like a certified dog, but it's a similar story to Holland. Castle projects to be the primary point of attack defender, which we need, but we also just need more points on the board at the end of the day. Personally I would be disappointed if its Risacher, Williams, Topic or Dillingham. Congrats on the Kid!
Look for players with high basketball IQ & MJ killer instinct/Mamba mentality . And Zachary Riserche just doesn't have that dawg in him. Even Raphael Barlowe of Big Board noticed this two full years before this draft after initially being very high on him.
This draft definitely is a crap shoot, What are your thoughts on Cody Williams? I've heard of him rising up on some boards. I heard someone talking about the Hornets should try to get DeAnthony Melton to backup LaMelo, which I would like that, the Hornets to me need 3 and D players.
@@TrustTheBuzz It could be possible of Charlotte getting the pick in that range, any other draft that would be awful, this draft, there's no real number one , most are saying Sarr, I'm not sure of their being a superstar in this draft, I think it's possible to have two to three all stars in this draft, I don't really see a franchise changer like last year's draft.
Tough part is Hornets need some cheap talent badly. It’s just bad timing that it’s during this class. Part of me wants them to look to restructure the roster next offseason with better free agency and draft but they are going to do it this season
I feel you…my perfect scenario is to get the first pick and for Portland to drop to the 8th pick…possibly trade that 1st for both of their lottery picks…two cheap rookies who can contribute right there if Portland goes for it
reed sheppard is the clear pick if sarr isnt there -- reed shot 52.5% from 3 and plays great D. w brandon reed would be lethal and keep brandon spaced. i like reed more than sarr but i think they will draft sarr. sarr allows them to package mark williams and cody. it wouldnt surprise me if reed is HoF. i really mean that. --- holland and castle will only hurt brandon and spacing. i would prefer to sign claxton in FA. i like matas too and he looked great playing against brandon.

Holland will look great in draft workouts and his shooting form looks fine. He has NBA-ready body, athleticism, and game that teams will trust his ability to come in and make an immediate impact. With that, Reed Sheppard is the pick.

I like Cody Williams but to me he is in that 6-9 range

Reed Sheppard would be the right pick for this team. Someone who will not demand the ball and can be a glue guy to build team continuity.
If there is ever a year to trade down and get an extra first…this is the year
