김범석Your comment is from your own ignorance. Those two tenors were from the same teacher, Melocchi. Corelli did not take direct lessons from him, but he rather copied and studied one of his students' lessons. Later Corelli directly asked for. lots of advices from Del Monaco when he needed them. If you cannot come up with other names, then your preference is Melocchi method, nothing else. I can go on and on, but this is already sufficient for you sticking to your old recording with less information, very little of how they really sounded like. The reason Kim is really good is from his rare quality of squillo as well as his ability to deliver his own thoughts in singing in his still young age.
Giovanni Fassari Be nice. Forte and gola are two different things.I bet you are not Radames tenor. Of course it is written as Morendo at the end of this aria, but many, even the legends, sang with forte because this aria is in the beginning of the whole challenging opera, following trio. The tenor's voice mostly is not likely fully warmed up yet, and singing the ending phrase with forte instead of morendo is mostly by choice.
