I just purchased one of these in excellent condition with a working bulb! I found it at a thrift store for $33. Looking forward to watching hundreds of hours of home movies from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I'll be transferring them to digital soon. I just wanted the old school experience one more time...
The 346A was Bell & Howell's first Super-8 projector -- introduced in 1965 (same year as Super-8 film), but similar body style and inner "guts" to many of their earlier Regular 8mm models.
Onneff69 You definitely know your stuff. Maybe you can help me. I have a B&H Model 370 projector. I know the difference between 8mm and Super 8 but I can't tell which format it supports. I've googled it but to no avail. Any info would be greatly appreciated :)
@@stevencolon1723 Sorry, but I'm only seeing this now. Probably way too late, but for what it's worth the 370 was a Regular 8 only model. Bell & Howell's numbering system for their projectors didn't follow any sort of logic.
Thank you so much for your video. I lost my manual and couldn’t remember how to put the film on. I now am watching my old 45-50 year old movies!👍🏻👏🏻

This is the exact same Super 8 projector I have. One thing I dis like is the take up reel being over the lamp like that.
Thanks for sharing!

Just found my great grandparents one in my basement. Still works lmao.
I found mine at Goodwill for 3.95 !

Video starts at 1:50
LOL. Thats what she said came out of nowhere!
what are the reel sizes (inches) of the 2 reels shown in video?
The bottom gear on mine is busted, any clue on how to fix it?
does this projector play 8 mm AND Super 8 or just Super 8?
No. Super-8 only.
A Super 8 is suppose to work with both
@@dannyglover1477 No it's not.
