Well, I do not want to say much about the lore but for the good ending you're still lost into what really happened. You escaped yes, yet you don't really know what really happened. Flashing red light with that black thing in that capsule. Now if you leave, there's those messages that say "DON'T LEAVE PLEASE" or something if I remembered. If you look behind you, you still see that dark figure staring at you as you leave. You go into the darkness and who knows where you go... The True Ending tries to expand on that idea still where was left off in the good ending but more. If you used a video to cheat then the chances of you actually understanding is less since you really didn't take the time to understand how to find it all.
