back when i had access to a church organ (Wicks 1972-8 ranks) this was one of my favorite recessional pieces on sunday. Unfortunately, age and a fall down the stairs at home has robbed me of my memory of reading and playing music. this video brings me to tears every time i watch it..you have a great talent for interpreting the soul of a piece of music! Keep up the great work!!
For my taste I liked the first one better; brought a shiver down my spine! Excellent interpretation for a substantial instrument. Thanks for sharing it.
A majestic and wonderful rendition of one of the favorite hymns of my childhood - and it remains a favorite today. Is this arrangement in print/memorized, or are you improvising? If it's an improvisation, first of all, WELL DONE! Second, have you thought about writing it out and submitting it to a publisher? In any case, it's very uplifting to hear. Thank you for the hard work you did.
Superb arrangement. Leaves nothing to the imagination! (For my own preference, I find the solo reed too abrasive, but the organ as a whole sounds very fine.)
That solo reed would have sounded a tad better if it were under expression. But I suspect it is a horizontal trumpet stop under high wind pressure such as a Trompette en Chamade
Beautiful. My favorite instrument and one of my favorite songs.
Wow!
Love from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱
What an arrangement! WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!!
One word...AMEN!!!!
Keep up the good works, Jerrod Coates
A truly grand instrument played in such a powerful and majestic manner

The solo reed is a Trompette En Chamade named Jubilate Deo 8'
If you don't use the trumpet stop on this one, you are no fun
