The Beatles didn't really use the fast setting much and they used a Leslie 16/Fender Vibratone a lot. I have a Korg G4 Leslie Pedal and I like that one. I've tried so many lol
I love the Rotosphere II! I've had one for 18 years. I put an old Telefunken ECC83 in it. I had the original Rotosphere and then bought the updated one (Mk II). I've owned the DSL but sold it as it was too harsh. I also have a Neo Vent but it too is very harsh sounding. The only other one I like is the Boss RT-20.
I've talked to H&K not long ago and asked them about it and they said they can't produce it anymore because some components are not available anymore. It would be very cool to have a new version of the Rotosphere with some more knobs to adjust the speed, etc. I tried so many rotary effects but the Rotosphere is still the best i've heard, probably because of the tube.
Just the video I needed thank you. Crazy that you designed the rotosphere. Respect
Just got me a Mini Vent II, amazing pedal and doesn't take too much space on my board.
I've had a MkII since about 2006, as well as the Replex. The Replex actually makes a great drive pedal.
I have a full size Neo Vent. It's amazing.

Ein ganz ein feiner Effekt. Saludos ausm Süden. Carsten
rotosphere sounds great with some overdrive or fuzz
We agree on that! :)
Schade, dass ihr kein Stereo-Setup benutzt habt.
Das wäre tatsächlich auch eine gute Idee gewesen. Wir nehmen es mal als Inspiration mit :)
Any idea why Hughes & Kettner discontinued the Rotosphere?
Sämi Moor I would suspect that it costs too much to produce vs how much you can sell for?? Especially in this digital age...
