love the vid bro. Just wanted to ask, do you have a normal or wide foot? I’ve been eyeing on a pair of 788s and wanted to get some opinions before purchasing
Thanks for watching! I have wide foot, I usually wear US 9 (27cm) TTS but for some sneakers with narrower silhouette I tend to go for US9.5, half size up. For these pairs I went for a size 43 and they fit perfect for my wide foot (which is one size up, Guidi usually list 42 as 9). Good luck!

I think you still have to size up once regardless because Guidi's footwear are really, really tighter/smaller than usual due to the washing process they do to their leather which causes shrinkage. Some people even go 2 size up but I find that a little extreme. But I see some people get away with TTS when they purchase a used pair which has already been broken in considerately by the previous owner but yeah otherwise it's gonna be a little risky.

Hey! Great video - had a question, as I was also eyeing a pair of 796s. I usually wear 9.5 US, but how do you think the size 43 would compare to a size 44? I saw below that you said you went for the 43, but wondering if going up to 44 would sound good for a 9.5 US. Thanks!
Hey there! This is a tricky question, I'm usually a US9-9.5 (9.5 for certain silhouette because of my wide feet) and 43 is great for me, I'd imagine it would be fine for you too as long as your feet is regular and not too wide. this is late as shit but ive had 5 pairs of guidi definetly do not size up 2 sizes one will be just fine
Did the cobbler put the vibram sole with nails or just with glue? I want to put mine on but I'm afraid it might damage the boots.
No nails involved. They usually smoothen the sole with a sander perfectly, and then glue the vibram sole with adhesive.
I got My Guidi backzips one size up. Fit perfect out the box, but I'm worried about overstretching. Anybody got any experience of this with well worn guidis?
The one I went one size up still fits me perfectly and so far so good, hasn't really have any of the overstretched issue yet.
I wouldn’t know from experience but I reckon if your feet aren’t stretching the leather it won’t overstretch.

Hey, usually Guidi comes in euro sizes like 42, 43 etc. instead. If you’re like me 9-9.5 you can go for size 43.
Do you prefer these over front zip ??
Oh yeah definitely. I prefer the sleek look of this over the bulkier front zip version (for now).
am i the only one that actually went size down with guidis XD, us10.5 - us11 in nikes, 43 in 210 fits me perfectly
You're definitely the rare ones that manage to size down for Guidi (most people I've seen so far has to size up) but that's interesting. Maybe your batch of leathers didn't shrink that much or something during production.
do they fit like how rick owens fit?
From what I read online mainline Rick Owens fit bigger usually, and Guidi leather boots are known for the opposite so no I don't think they fit the same.
