Those are some good numbers. Congrats. Btw, do you happen to know how much tuning can a 1.8 TSI - 160 bhp take? I'm trying to find some solid info online but most ppl seem to be driving 2.0 ones. I was hoping, you might have heard something from the folks you spend time with and talk shop. Thanks!
Thanks mate 😁👍🏻 And yeah the 1.8's aren't talked about as much and have limited mods available. A pretty much standard practice for a little extra power from any Turbo engine is a free-er flowing exhaust system, air intake where universal, made to measure, or adapted from a 2.0 and "made to fit", with a remap done on the car afterwards. If u have a reputable nearby tuner with a rolling road, they should definitely be able to get you a good few extra BHP than standard. There will be a limitation to what the internals of ur engine can handle, so if you are looking for big gains, a change of engine is the next expensive step sadly.
First and second gear was great in my old Cupra 1p :) The Stage 1 5f doesn't do the first 2 gears that fast. It start pulling from 3th gear :) I really like your 1p. It's a nice car. Greetz from Holland!
Cheers Tim 😊 Yeah I was impressed how well it put down the power at low speeds. The PS4's definitely helps, as I had Goodyear Eagle F1's before, and they skipped about a fair bit 😅🙈
Cupra R is still a beauty of a car! I do miss mine
Go on, buy one back mate..... One of us, one of us!! 😅
@@NorthCoastWorkshop 😂😂😂
Still love these old cars. Btcc with the TDI and Jason plato got me hooked 😂
Ah yes the BTCC racing ones were awesome, and the road going cars were good replicas too.
Jason is the goat too 😁👌🏻
Nice video mate...... I wonder how the leon would fare against a 205 diesel..... I've heard those are rapid! 😂😉
I think the 205 TD was placed way up the leaderboard out of sight!! 😅 Maybe a stage 2 and I'd have a better chance!! 💪🏻
