What I think EBay needs to be careful on is, they keep increasing the rates and wanting you to promote, and keep wanting more % of the sale., on top of USPS shipping rates going up so much, which increases seller prices and if buyers stop finding deals, and stop coming, then Ebay can have a shift in its business for the negative which effects the sellers like me and a bunch of people watching this. I get why the USPS and other carriers have to increase rates but some of the Ebay fee increases are not justified and very poorly timed and could ultimately hurt their business.
My store got really slow also. But I started a huge project of going through all my inventory that I have in my basement. (Kinda had to. It had gotten out of control.) So I went through EVERYTHING one at a time and reassigned it a new home. Pulled all the old items that hat gotten delisted and donating just about all those. Which ended up being about 15 garbage bags full. And not to Goodwill. I pick different charities each time I have stuff to donate. This time was the children's cancer society. I'm not done yet, BUT my store has been going crazy with sales! And on old items. It's been great!
Kevin, I pray, the Good Lord I put myself in his hands. Items have sold that I had for a while. I'm on social security, and I made enough in February for my bills, thanks to prayers. Don't give up fellow ebay sellers, God will never leave you.

My Grandpa was born during the depression. He always told the stories of how those that had saved were able to buy land and improve their livestock herd very economically during that time due to many having to sell out for pennies on the dollar! In no way should we take advantage of anyone but there will be opportunities especially for those that have prepared for a time like this! I just had 23 days of no sales. So excited to list a recession-proof item yesterday that sold in just a few hours. Only sad thing was I slept through the ‘cha ching’!
Here, too! I meet so many reselling ex teachers at the Goodwill bins. Teaching is a tough position to transition out of. We’re so lucky to have flipping as an option!
Its happening all over. you may recall we are retired part time resellers Kevin, now 20 years on eBay come April and we are selling a few things BUT the lookers and watchers as we call it have certainly slowed down. The other odd thing is as things get tougher people are asking so much more for their stuff especially on marketplace so sourcing for us has slowed down which you would not expect. I mean many are actually asking eBay prices which is crazy.
Usually when people start mentioning slow eBay sales, I am in that same situation. Last fall, I felt like you, nothing would sell no matter what you did or how much you listed. So far this year for me, it's almost like they put me back on their old algorithm, not having crazy sales but consistent again at least.
I'm not a big seller, but it has been slow this year. My last offer was low-balling me too. I momentarily was questioning if I should've just accepted their offer, but I realize I can't give things away. 🤷🏼♀️ I still say we are about to get busy. Prices are high in stores, I think people are going to turn to us resellers to save money. Fingers crossed, like you said ebb and flow. 🤞
My eBay store is slow. My Antique Booth is even slower & I have had that Antique Booth for over 10 years & I have never seen it so Slow. But when you go to the grocery store and prices are 30% + Higher then they were 6 months ago. Gas prices are high. Children are over 20 years old and finished College. No more Tax Refund!!! It’s Crazy to think that two years ago our Family received three checks because of Covid-19. I remember thinking why are we getting these checks?? My Husband and I were still working, we had not lost a job. I thought that people who had lost a job, or housing needed that money. They sent it out to everyone. And now it seems that most people are having a difficult time with the economy in the past 4 months. I really hope that things improve for everyone. It’s definitely not easy to support a family as it was 10 years ago.
The one thing in California has on others is PROP 13 my property taxes are fixed. They can't reassess my house every year. My house won't be assessed at what is worth today. So, my taxes are EXTREMELY low compared to what it is worth.
@@commonwealthflipper you mean California has other taxes? I’m paying taxes on lumber that I buy. A tree tax. I have to pay to recycle an old TV! When I buy a TV they charge that recycle fee on it. I’ve lost track of what they want.
Ive talked to so many people that have been ebay sellers in the past and its always the same. Ebay changed and they didnt like it so they quit ebay. The one constant thing in life is change. you gotta adapt and overcome to survive in life and business and you gotta keep listing
my grandpa had an antique store for 60 years. When nobody was buying, he bought quality items in quantity for cheap prices to sell later. He told me that the major reason for failure is to quit. Take advantage of the prices
Haha 4 sales is like doing an NC Flipper video. I have definitely noticed a big slow down my ebay store. The reality is the cost of goods across all markets are significantly higher so the average consumer is paying more for groceries, gas, utilities, etc. so there's nothing left for online shopping for non-essentials.
On the real estate front, property values are already crashing, so local counties are getting re-assessments in before that so they can keep their revenues up over the next several years as home prices crash. They are sneaky! They know what's going on for sure. This almost always happens right before recessions.
Hi Kevin, I have noticed that weird characters (like coding) have appeared in my listings (since the update) in certain fields, like size, color, etc. Check to make sure that somethings didn't get clobbered in there with the update. If those fields don't get fixed, people won't be able to find your listings. I have been editing 20 at a time, to see if there is any weirdness and indeed I have found some stuff.
The last year + has been terrible. We're listing more now and stuff isnt moving. We've compared stuff with a good sell rate and list it cheaper and it just sits. I think it's ebay search, they show you 90% of items you aren't looking for. People don't have the patience for that in the "I want it now" time.
I’m also dead it’s a bit scary. I usually wake up to 3-5 sales every morning and another couple during the day. I’ve had 8 sales in two weeks just dismal.
Please don’t ever give up Kevin . You have been a blessing and also my go to person and I can get a honest answer like the other day .Blessings to you and your family
Swings and Roundabouts Sales go up and down throughout the year it all evens out, even in recessions things sell just different items and like you said great for sourcing items at the moment great video keep it up don’t lose the faith
We are small time, no store. But our sales have been up. We figured people are getting the income tax back. I’ve been selling post war Lionel train cars, vintage Plasticville & vintage Atari cartridges that have been up forever. I find that even if I’m just doing drafts it seems to wake up my sales. I do well with model train items. We love VA, I like to visit your shed sometime.
to offset bad sales I continuously run a certain number of items on auction every single week. I make sure I pick items where its almost impossible for me to take a loss on that specific auction. That way I still have plenty of sales coming through if offers or bins are slow. auctions are what made ebay popular in the first place. Without them ebay is just another big online store. People look for the deals even in a recession. Also, After I list something on buy it now, I drop the price sometimes within hours or a few days if its not getting the right amount of views or watchers. The algorithm will limit the visibility of listings that have had the same old price with little traffic/interest.
Nice shirt! Repping western Canada! After 32 years, I tend to just ride out the slow times. You should have a nest egg to tide you over those times, not spend it all. For me, in rural Manitoba, Canada, things get slow in the winter. So when things get slow, I work on projects that have been sitting too long, I tidy up, sort, clean, investigate alternate platforms online, list things online that need to get moving out of the store (I have a 1500 sqr foot brick and mortar shop), etc. Look at it as a blessing, giving you time to breath, and get caught up on things, make your selling experience more efficient.
I’m having a massive revamp! I’m setting all my stuff Estate sale/ garage sale style sale and I’m selling everything!!! I’m planning a month or so in advance to make sure it’s perfect! I prolly have thousands of dollars in stuff! Then I’m gonna decide what to do with what’s left after my sale, list or donate I’m redoing my inventory to only sell my few niche items I like, I had went crazy last summer just buying everything that had a value and I really overdid it! This sale will be a resellers dream sale 😅🎉
We typically have 20-25 sales per day. That has fallen since November of last year to about 18-20. The velocity is off. You can also check the number of active buyers on eBay, it has decreased by 8% over the last twelve months. Perhaps what we are experiencing is a return to pre-pandemic activity. If so, lets be thankful that people were asked to stay home with their computers and provided stimulus checks. I am not measuring my numbers against 2021 or 2022, I am actually measuring in comparison to 2020 (in which case we are actually up 11%). If it was related to the pandemic let's be thankful for the ride.
I’ve almost went back to work 3 times in the last few months. Right when I got a few applications in something awesome happened where I didn’t need to. Hope it gets better for you.
At least you can always sell your gold stash. I just sold a 20 gram 10k class ring for $510. That's over spot price surprisingly. And yes it was a gold buyer not a collector
February has been terrible, one of the worst months in 20 years on eBay. TRS, 100% feedback, over 1k of listings, new listings every day, listings promoted, offers sent out, markdown sales running... but have five days in the last three weeks with no sales at all. I have gone years without seeing a blank day. Impressions are up a few percent but page views are down 60% and the conversion rate is halved. My advice to others is always to just keep going and things will turn around in due course so I guess I'll just have to take my own advice. Looking more closely I suspect that, just for once, this is actually down to something eBay is doing. Two reasons for that thought; firstly, while page views have fallen off a cliff, external page views have remained steady--which suggests it's down to visibility. Secondly, despite doing nothing different, yesterday saw a massive jump in impressions, page views and sales. Impressions went up by a factor of 4 hitting the highest daily figure in two years, page views were on a 6 month high and sales are back. Don't know what eBay did!
Sales are definitely slow and down year over year, which i expected. Just gotta find other opportunities like you said. Also, it's a great time to start working on your own UA-cam channel if you have been itching to do that! That's what I'm doing 🥰
Sales are okay here. I resell sneakers and clothing. When things are slow on eBay, the other apps pick up the slack. I know most eBayers dont like using other apps, but some should try it. I was the same, but bills won't pay themselves on downtime.
Same thing here. I have had no sales since December. Then yesterday I made a sale, which boosted my confidence. It wasn't a big sale, just a $13 item, but a sale is a sale. This selling drought is affecting everyone and the best thing we can do is wait it out. The economy is tanking and we are seeing the results of it. But my advice is...DON'T GIVE UP. This won't last forever.
Between the taxes going up on vehicles and houses, higher electric bills and more expensive food, the online sales are bound to slow down. Please have a Plan B (tutoring or something else going on at the same time). Multiple streams of income will be the key going forward.
Market downturns are a great opportunity to get large bulk buys of good products if you have the available capital and space. The trick is to not over extend your business and run out of funds.
My sales have picked up on eBay and my booth at the antique mall. I’ve been buying and selling for 40 years got to roll with ups and downs. Hope it gets better and it will. Take care
So far, 2023 has been outstanding. ASP is currently around $130. Demographics. Who are your core buyers? I go after the higher end buyers. There dosen't appear to be a shortage of them. We all saw this downturn coming. I invested heavily back in December while picking was great. Now I am reaping the benefits. February is turning out to be my best month in the past 8 years. I keep raising prices to slow things down to a manageable level. They just keep buying. I need a vacation but my busy season is coming up fast. My grandson started selling on eBay recently. He is doing great also.
I sell primarily vintage items. In all the time I have been a reseller, both selling as an estate liquidator on site and online on Ebay and other platforms, February is ALWAYS a hard month for sales. Toward the end of my vocation as a fulltime liquidator, I stopped taking sales that would have to host in February. In my current fulltime online reselling I take the same approach. I use the down time to do inventory, reorganization, source more, etc. I just came through a HUGE purge of my garage work space during this month, and plan to show clips of that on my channel soon. Next month will still typically be a bit sluggish as yard sales start up and people are getting outside more, but I have a 10 x 20 storage unit (my last of 6 from closing a thrift store) that I will purge in the same way and ready for listing come winter...when things will slow again. :) It is all about focusing on doing "the next right thing".
I work my eBay store. I end old listings and then sell similar the same item. I up or lower the price depending on what the item is selling for and that helps me. Work what you've got instead of listing just new items.
Blaming it on inflation sounds good in theory. But then I check out my main competitors and their sales are through the roof. They are killing it. My sales have been pretty good too for the past month, but then died overnight this past Wednesday. That's not inflation. That's more likely eBay glitching.
So we always know exactly when the slow spots are it makes you also realize when the busier times are. What we do is have calendar on wall and we right the order count on that calendar every day. We also keep the previous two years hanging beside. The super bowl and Valentines combined always make for a slow day or two. We only had 61 orders that Monday 29 on Tuesday and 32 on Wednesday and is basically same as last two years. Our order volume has come back up now and getting closer to normal we like 50-100 orders each day 7 days per week. Try this it really helps.
@@combatmicah4501 take a look at my listings we sell a large run from coin supplies, silver, gold, jewelry, trains, collectables. We filled 17,000 orders on ebay alone last year. Ebay name is same of course as name here.
@@2strive405 main category is bullion and then coin supplies next is trains, we try and stick to just collectables. But we often sell other items. We try and stick to the Coins because thats where our negotiated rate is with our ebay rep.
I'm a self employed screen printer for over 20 years. The first 2 months of this year are the worst for sales that I've ever seen. You aren't the only one wondering what's going on.
One of my goals for the year as a reseller is to trust the process more and to not worry about daily sales which have always been random and spontaneous. I thought I was doing good through January, but my sales have been terrible since the first of February. I think there might be a correlation to when the servers went down for maintenance. Another reseller talked about getting a notice about it from eBay, but I haven't seen it myself or heard anyone else bring it up. Lonnie showed it happening in real time on a recent video and I experienced it.
I definitely agree that slow sales have something to do w the servers going down and all the problems with search. If people can't see your items you cant sell them.
I am a very Part Time seller - average 150 active listings. January was good - averaged a sale a day. Hit February and it was like my store had a cloaking device running! Not many sales to mention at all. I don't generally like to sell cloths, but I am picking more shirts and jackets up - figuring eBay may be where people turn to get a bargain.
@@philipbolin6776 Let's hope its short lived! I am in Philly - and things are still jumping around here, I mean prices are higher but still LOTS of people out and about in restaurants and bars....just not looking at my eBay Store!
I watched this video as well. Petes shop is about an hour from me. We are in Illinois and taxes keep rising here. My mothers mortgage on her home she has had for 25 years went up $300 a month. My taxes went up as well. Illinois but specifically Cook (Crook) county is terrible. This guy is very knowledgeable but its nice that he is local so he is only spot on
Thanks for sharing your information about the slowing of sales. I haven't sold anything since Jan. Its been bothering me also. I have a few items that are getting a bunch of likes but nobody will make the commitment to buy them. So again, thank you. Appreciate your videos.
Slow Sale Days: on slow sale days, I try to use the extra time (not shipping) to get out, stretch my legs and go for a walk around the lake or out in my community, now that spring is approaching and the weather is warming.
I am moving inventory over from an older store to my newer store. eBay has been so punitive with the older store that I will be shutitng it down by end of March. It is absolute bullshit rules keeping that store down. I don't know why they act so punitive, like disallowing me from promoting in the store, because it hurts me AND them. Crazy. I don't want to run two stores anyway. One large store is enough.
I really enjoyed your video as it gave me further insight on eBay from your perspective. I came in as a new seller & am guessing at a down turn as I was waiting for my first sell. We’ll, I finally got my first sell this morning so I am very pleased! Thanks for sharing your story as it touched me.
I was selling around $500-1000 a day last month , now I’m doing around $100-400 . It gets really slow around march but hopefully it doesn’t get too rough 😬
Thanks Kevin for all your advice slow here for 3 days but I have been listing and sourcing at our swap meet here in Vegas and thrift stores Have a great Week 😊🐕😺
It happened like that in 08 to my wife and her eBay business she tried but it didn’t pick up until 2011 she went n got a job for the city Good Luck 🍀👍🏻
eBay traffic and sales are down several quarters in a row. Going into holidays my sales were way slow! I went out of town for 2.5 months and put my items on vacation. I don’t know if I want to bring them off of vacation. eBay needs to change something big up to drive sales again. I like the advice to use the time to make changes. I’d be selective about buying strategies. Good luck! 🍀
It's that time of year. Slow sales right now because: 1. Tax time for most people, they are figuring and saving to pay taxes. Once that is done and filed, they will start spending again. 2. All of these winter storms/flooding etc across the country, people are in survival mode instead of buying things which they can put on hold until the danger passes for them and their family. It's all temporary, just ride out the (seller slump) storm. Hang in there. P.S. Thank you for helping find those Safeway bags and vintage pins a new Forever Home. They won't take long I am sure. :)
I was on eBay for 11 years. I left 2 years ago for Mercari. I was pulling between $500 and $1200 a week for the last 2 years, steadily, from my online shop. My shop sales fell off the face of the planet about 45 days ago. I sell vintage posters, comics, omnibuses, signed wrestling memorabilia, graded sports cards, and action figures. I hadn’t had a single sale in over 2 weeks, until I started listing MMPR boom studios deluxe books at an insanely aggressive price. I have seen 3, what were, successful resale shops that had survived covid, all close down since December.
The 5% off on Supply Hut comes in clutch and no Tax!!! Yea my mortgage jumped on a new tax assessment that is not being talked about much that is huge burden for some people. Saturday sales was solid for me and then Sunday tanked.

The weekend improved my sales but still low. One of these days can you mention that Habitat for Humanity takes donations. I dropped some home repair items off at my local one and they said they were low on donations and take far more than just home repair stuff. They don't take clothing, used mattresses or baby/kids items. Most anything else though they will. Most locations will pick up donations, especially furniture!
Sales have been a few days.............. horrible, 1 day insanely amazing, and then back to dead.............. or like yesterday......... yesterday 8am hour............ 5 sales............ zero rest of the day.......... Just keep listing & praying
My sales are about the same, and I have noticed the auctions around here are crazy. People spending money on stuff, sometimes more than it's worth. There probably will be more yard sales this spring.
We had a day of zero sales yesterday and that has only happened a few times in the 22 years we have been reselling. I'm really starting to wonder what's going on..
EBay is like baseball cards. Market is flooded with merchandise and people selling. All you see is people buying stuff hoping to profit. But it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Even gold is down now. Hope your sales pick up. Stay blessed
I was doing so great selling 5 to 6 items a day for months, and then all of a sudden during November the end of January I was selling one to three items a day. I feel like I’m getting back on track now. But it was freaking out for a while. Specially, on those one item days.
My sales fell to the pits about 3 years ago. I sold 4 items from $10 - $40 sales plus shipping in a little over 2.5 months... beginning of the year... 2023. People only spend on things they want whether need or not.
I have been a full time seller since 1997. I have done this through recessions and this is the worst I have ever seen! I only sold 11 items all weekend mostly like $10 items. I think people are broke. My sales are like 50% down local and internet sales.
I am having very slow ebay sales, too. One day I only sold 1 item. I have 1800 listed items. I am using the time to list like crazy and am thinking about cross posing this year. I look at is as an unexpected break, but do not think this will continue for long.
As always thank you for your content. Just celebrated 1 year of reselling Jan 29th. Learning everyday. Have enjoyed the journey this far. . Been homeschooling for 13 years and down to my last 2 kids, both nearly through with high school, so like having something to do in my extra time. 😁
Same thing here a few days ago. Part timer with 800ish listings. Been listing, refreshing and sending offers like crazy. Had almost no sales for a few days. Had to be something with ebay's software. Back to normal now. Had very good days the last few. Putting out a public coupon helped. (20% off 3 or more items)
I would be interested to know what is behind the slowdown in sales. I made one really profitable sale this week. That made up for slow sales. I would recommend ramping up listings. I’m sure things will get better soon. Stay positive!!
Actually, the United States is going to crash, the economy included. It's already begun. Things will not be getting better, unfortunately. It's all written in the Bible.
I work in Finance (25-years now). Don't even get me started on the economy...I could type for days!! Inflation (in all forms) is destroying the middle-class!! Retail goods and services, oil/gas prices, healthcare costs, building materials, % rates, etc., etc., have all gone-up substantially! My Client's portfolios are down 20%, 30%, 40+% over the last 18-24 months. This all results in people depending on credit cards, spending-down their savings, and living paycheck to paycheck. Your average American has WAYYYY less disposable income to purchase fun items on platforms like EBay!! Unfornately, it's NOT going to improve anytime soon without radical intervention. Stay positive, keep listing, decent time to buy (people are needing cash)!
Normally I would agree with you because I too have a store that isn’t selling. However, I also have a part time job at a major store and business is insane. We’ve attributed it to people getting their income tax back. Either way I hope things change soon. I also have a Poshmark account and sales aren’t any better there.

@@commonwealthflipper you mean California has other taxes? I’m paying taxes on lumber that I buy. A tree tax. I have to pay to recycle an old TV! When I buy a TV they charge that recycle fee on it. I’ve lost track of what they want.
Thank You for this video. No sales make think the worse. But I will keep banging away at listing..
Ive talked to so many people that have been ebay sellers in the past and its always the same. Ebay changed and they didnt like it so they quit ebay. The one constant thing in life is change. you gotta adapt and overcome to survive in life and business and you gotta keep listing
Thank you for this video, I thought I was losing my mind....Zero Sales over the last 36 hours...
Thank you for this video. My sales are very low, but I am using the down time to list and things are picking up, thankfully. Good luck.
Found a sealed Princess Bride I sold for 68. Could have held out for more, but only paid a buck. VHS does well for me.
Hit me up next time you find something cool
You're lucky. Four sales in one day. I had a total of 4 sales since last week Monday. I have a message out to eBay.
my grandpa had an antique store for 60 years.
This last 7 weeks is the worst stretch on my 11 yr Ebay journey on reselling!!
Scary!
The last year + has been terrible. We're listing more now and stuff isnt moving. We've compared stuff with a good sell rate and list it cheaper and it just sits. I think it's ebay search, they show you 90% of items you aren't looking for. People don't have the patience for that in the "I want it now" time.
Same
I’m also dead it’s a bit scary. I usually wake up to 3-5 sales every morning and another couple during the day. I’ve had 8 sales in two weeks just dismal.
I'm gonna start reselling, and hitting thrift shops. 🙏 Great vid.
you make us inspired man.
Please don’t ever give up Kevin . You have been a blessing and also my go to person and I can get a honest answer like the other day .Blessings to you and your family
Swings and Roundabouts
Sales go up and down throughout the year it all evens out, even in recessions things sell just different items and like you said great for sourcing items at the moment
great video keep it up don’t lose the faith
The algorithm will limit the visibility of listings that have had the same old price with little traffic/interest.
ebay is weird like that some times it like u get sales like crazy for a couple days then for a couples day dry as can be
Get out there with delivery gigs. Through the day when I’m sourcing I’ll take Doordash, Spark, or Uber deliveries. It helps the cash flow.
Then I’m gonna decide what to do with what’s left after my sale, list or donate
I’m redoing my inventory to only sell my few niche items I like, I had went crazy last summer just buying everything that had a value and I really overdid it! This sale will be a resellers dream sale 😅🎉
My little dog looked just like yours. She passed last may 16yrs old. She was Pebbles aka Pebbly Poo, BamBam is still going strong. Love your videos.
We have only had 2 sales in the last week. Wre usually have at least one or two a day.
Always know how long you can survive with no sales. That should stop panic. Or maybe tell you something.
From my experience in retail January and February has always been the slowest sales and best time for vacation.
Sales are okay here. I resell sneakers and clothing. When things are slow on eBay, the other apps pick up the slack. I know most eBayers dont like using other apps, but some should try it. I was the same, but bills won't pay themselves on downtime.
really needed to hear this. our etsy store has been very slow last couple weeks
Slowly building up my store in hopes of crushing sales next month. Always need more time to list and get organized
Glad you took your own advice and checked in with Eni-man to get the store moving again.
Decreased sales online but increased sales in the booths. Really don't have any idea what is going on. Glad I'm not alone
He is doing great also.
awesome.
You must be selling opioids because nobody else on eBay is selling crap and I've been selling on here for 25 years
I sell primarily vintage items.
Had a great January then February it dropped by half in just days. Sales have been horrible and people sending offers for half price.
same here. You are not alone. Good we have youtube and these updates so we know what is going on .
What are you selling?
@@combatmicah4501 take a look at my listings we sell a large run from coin supplies, silver, gold, jewelry, trains, collectables. We filled 17,000 orders on ebay alone last year. Ebay name is same of course as name here.
What category do you sell in?
@@2strive405 main category is bullion and then coin supplies next is trains, we try and stick to just collectables. But we often sell other items. We try and stick to the Coins because thats where our negotiated rate is with our ebay rep.
Thank you Kevin. February was definitely a tough month. Hoping for a more prosperous March for all.
I'm a self employed screen printer for over 20 years. The first 2 months of this year are the worst for sales that I've ever seen. You aren't the only one wondering what's going on.
If you are a screenprinter hit me up on IG I might want to talk to you
we are all in the same boat like some one said welcome to biden jerk's america.
It’s a sad day when no one is buying garden flags or Tupperware lids. 😢
aint that the truth.
I have about twice that amount and feel your pain.
@@philipbolin6776 Let's hope its short lived! I am in Philly - and things are still jumping around here, I mean prices are higher but still LOTS of people out and about in restaurants and bars....just not looking at my eBay Store!
@@GDFLS hoping it turns around for ya! Despite being from philly lol jk 😁
@@philipbolin6776 Haha! well our anthem here is "We're from Philly...No one likes us, we don't care." LOL All the best for a great week!
As Doud Heffernan would say, "In-flay-sheon."
I watched this video as well. Petes shop is about an hour from me. We are in Illinois and taxes keep rising here. My mothers mortgage on her home she has had for 25 years went up $300 a month. My taxes went up as well. Illinois but specifically Cook (Crook) county is terrible. This guy is very knowledgeable but its nice that he is local so he is only spot on
Pete is the Godfather. Love Pete. So much real experience. I like selling issues. My sales were good this weekend.
Same this been my best month for stuff and listing every day 1 sale this week ouch never had this in 2 yrs
I really enjoyed your video as it gave me further insight on eBay from your perspective. I came in as a new seller & am guessing at a down turn as I was waiting for my first sell. We’ll, I finally got my first sell this morning so I am very pleased! Thanks for sharing your story as it touched me.
It's a 'sale' not a 'sell'.
I was selling around $500-1000 a day last month , now I’m doing around $100-400 . It gets really slow around march but hopefully it doesn’t get too rough 😬
It’s January & February blues. Right after everyone spent their money on Christmas.
Thanks Kevin for all your advice slow here for 3 days but I have been listing and sourcing at our swap meet here in Vegas and thrift stores Have a great Week 😊🐕😺
I did use your link for the Rollo printer. Thanks again for the tips!
Side note, my wife found a copy of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom black back SEALED at the Goodwill bins. Sold it on Ebay for $200.
Next time hit me up first before you put a vhs on ebay.
@@commonwealthflipper Will do!
@@commonwealthflipper Could you take a look at your Ebay messages? Have a question about the SHARC.
It happened like that in 08 to my wife and her eBay business she tried but it didn’t pick up until 2011 she went n got a job for the city
Good Luck 🍀👍🏻
eBay traffic and sales are down several quarters in a row. Going into holidays my sales were way slow! I went out of town for 2.5 months and put my items on vacation. I don’t know if I want to bring them off of vacation. eBay needs to change something big up to drive sales again. I like the advice to use the time to make changes. I’d be selective about buying strategies. Good luck! 🍀
sales are down for me too... almost zero.
It's that time of year. Slow sales right now because:
I noticed you got the tattoo!! I could not figure out what it is?? You will have to show us! My sales have been up and down and all around! I love seeing the critters ! Especially Wallens(sp?)
That's a great VHS to keep, looks in great condition. Ive never found the Mario movie, let alone sealed!
Store was slow but started listing like crazy and had my best week ever this past week!
You are my favourite UA-cam reseller, possibly favourite UA-camr ;) I love your positivity and down to earth attitude. I can jusbmagne wha an amazing teache you would have been but thanks for teaching us here now. Here In Canada it’s probably even harder to get sales especially for bread and butter as our shipping costs are ridiculous. By hey, we keep positive looking for opportunities and how to work around obstacles. Thanks for inspiring.
I live in OHIO I guess it is a law I can't ebay or Whatnot auction without a Auctioneer Lic.
Hey Kevin. I just ordered a bag and a sticker. I'll get get use out of that bag during yard sale season. Keep on trucking my good man.
Get a Plan B FAST.
Actually, the United States is going to crash, the economy included. It's already begun. Things will not be getting better, unfortunately. It's all written in the Bible.
As DouG Heffernan would say, "In-flay-sheon."
@@johnjeffreys6440 Oni-oi-oi-on!
