if I leave my hair in a style for longer than a couple of weeks I feel like its gets tangled almost wants to loc. except for maybe box braids if my hair was very well detangled before install. does this happen to you with your mini braids and how do you deal with that?
No they don’t get tangled at all, I do get some shed hairs of course but they pull out easily - try this: fully thoroughly moisturize and carefully carefully detangle your hair before braiding and braid them taut but not super tight at the roots.

@@HandleBerries yayy! Yes that sounds very good- just keep consistent and your hair moisturized and you will see the healthy length come effortlessly ♥️
Hi! New to watching your videos. My hair strands are finer than yours and I've been keeping them in twists. My hair reached bra length but it broke off due to using coconut products in my hair and not using protective styles as much. Now my hair is shoulder length. Determined to keep it braided until it grows back out but I do want to reach waist length. How do you take care of your hair in the winter? Also do you use moisturizing products with slip? I use Aussie Moist because that really works with me. Is moisturizing and oiling everyday too much? Anything that would speed up growth or retain more length? Thank you again for your posts!
@ I’m noticing though there’s no string to tie it tight so it might fall off during sleep- you can get the one Amazon that has a tie and it’s more inexpensive- whatever is best for you
Can braids be washed when they are shorter? I really want to start leaving my twists/brads in but I’m wondering if the length will cause them to unravel
Last time I mixed oil with water, it clogged my mister spray bottle. Has that happened to you? Also do you ever spray with plain water? How often do you use this oil water spray? ❤
Hi! They are mini braids and I keep them in for at least 6 weeks, but preferably 2months But take caution because you have to know your hair and ensure it will not mat. Please try to keep them 2-3 weeks first then extend if your hair is not matting I had to do a test first before leaving them in for 2 months

No because the scalp spray contains potent hair follicle stimulating strong essential oils
