- This was the first standing doll I made, and it was easy! I named him "Jack". :)
Pattern is from Sweetpea Primitives, and is available on Etsy.
This is a tutorial on how to make a standing rabbit doll. Now that I know how easy it is, I plan to make other standing dolls, which will definitely include some primitive snowmen!

Jack Rabbit! I LOVE IT!!!
Your standing Bunny Hare is precious! Love, Fran Hare 😊
Thank you! He's currently holding a flag. :)
Just love the way you did the bunny. I used to do many craft shows, and made similar dolls. I'm 84 now and just cross stitch.
I'd much rather stitch, than sew!
Love your bunny Doreen…
Thanks! I need to get him out. I haven't even put my snowmen away yet.
Very cute! I love Sweetpea Primitives ❤
Thanks! He'll be coming out for display soon.
LOVE HIM!!!!!
Thanks! It's almost time to bring him out again. 🐰
The bunny came out really cute! I think you did a great job. I love how you used the coffee.
Thanks so much! 😊 I'm working on some more, that will be hanging bunnies.
You have such a unique and creative style of making dolls and puppets
Thanks for watching 👍
I love him. I am going to try to make one. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 👍
Thank you
You're welcome. I plan on making more later this year. Definitely some snowmen.
Thank you!!!!
You're welcome!
He is adorable congrats 🎉 on your finish. He needs a friend 😆
Good idea! I hadn't thought of that, but where I will display him, there's no room. It's just a small, square table.
Thank you for sharing a video of your steps, you did a really good job, he turned out great!!
Thanks Sharon. I love him!
Your bunny turned out really cute!
Thanks Dorothy. He's even cuter in person!
Cute! Good job putting him together!
Thanks Phyllis. Now I wanna make more dolls!
very cute, pretty grungy looking
It's actually only mildly grunged. If I had done the pants separate, they would have come out darker, but I'm happy with him. 🐰

Thanks Sheila. I'm ready for spring, so bunnies are on the work table!

Thank you so much!!
You're welcome!
What is the name of the fabric from which you sew the rabbit?
I used some thin wool from my stash. The pattern calls for plush felt, which is available at Hobby Lobby.
