Thanks for the feedback, I think not everyone prefers all the really primitive is why I like to offer a choice of a not so prim doll. Thanks for commenting and the watch :)
@FarmhouseBC I finished it! 😊 I have just created my very first doll from this pattern! I made a few alterations to suit my style but absolutely loved doing it! I just want to thank you so much! It is a fab pattern and the instructions were spot on too 😁😁😁
Awe! That’s so special! Thank you for the compliment. I bet it’s so beautiful. Tweaking it makes it a part of your creativity which makes it unique. I love to put my own spin on things too. ❤️❤️ this makes me happy 😃
You're welcome! They are very cute to make, I have several scattered around my home :) thanks for taking the time to comment, this really helps my channel.

Thank you, Jersey, I just love your videos!! I’m always so impressed by your talent as an artist. Your detailed instructions are excellent for beginners & us seasoned doll makers alike. I already have more prim patterns (my own & others) than I’ll ever get made BUT I printed your pattern, it’s going to be an honor to make your doll. Thank you again!!
Thank you so much for this video! I really enjoyed it and yes I plan to make these dolls. I am really looking forward to staining the fabric and making a real prairie doll 😊

Wow I'm in awe of how you manage to work out the pattern. I'd be totally lost for where to start lol. I always have to use others patterns to make things then add my own details from there.
Thank you! 😊I too like to even alter my own patterns, to fit the fabric or if I want to improvise :) Primitive is so forgiving, hard to mess up 😂 thanks for the watch and the comment!
@@FarmhouseBC I’m finding, at least in my area, more & more interest in Primitive’s again. The world has become so very fast paced, maybe people are seeking the warmth & simplicity they evoke? Maybe they serve as a reminder of a gentler time? Whatever the reason, I’m so happy that there are artists like you to teach others how, by their own hands, to bring this feeling into their homes. Thank you!!
You are so welcome! It is my hopes to make more primitive doll tutorials in the near future. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, it helps my channel get more exposure.
I want to try making this doll but when I went to purchase stuffing the only options were recycled polyester or wool. I'm guessing if you want to dry things in the oven that only the wool stuffing would be suitable? But is wool like the alpaca you mentioned...can it get infested? So many newbie questions! Sorry! 😶😶😶
I’ve switched to all natural raw cotton for stuffing. I believe the link is below the video. In my other prim videos on the craft playlist I share why I no longer use wool or alpaca for stuffingI would never consider poly, I try to use only natural textiles. The little yarn I used wouldn’t really cause moths to infest. They like to bury themselves inside fabric where it’s dark. I have other prim patterns and such in my craft playlist. Please be sure and check them out. They are also free and you are able to download them without having to sign up to newsletters and blogs. I love newbies, I still get so excited as if I was a newbie every time I do it prim project. Thank you for taking the time to watch and most important to comment, that really helps my channel and if you have any more questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help but again, please check out my craft playlist. There are more prim projects that I’m hoping you will enjoy 😉
@@FarmhouseBC I managed to find a wonderful company in Yorkshire, not to far from me, to supply all my stuffing needs! I've spent the morning tea dying and I'm now going to watch more videos as I'm impatiently waiting on it to dry. Thank you ever so much for sharing this doll and pattern. I definitely think she's going to be grungy and prim. Xxx

I liked all the dolls but the older, lighter doll was my favourite :) I also love the rabbit, which looks great on the barn door panel.
