Right on. I happened to pick the green riser black limb 70lb when I got my ss34. Your reviews made it easy to choose a bow, and I got it at that shop because the vibe rocks. Like Bruce predicted, I'm freakin out upgrading from a g1 Bear Ctuzer.
If you laid the laser on the top cam and aimed it on the bottom cam and adjusted the top cam to line laser up on the bottom and then laid the laser on the bottom and adjusted it; would you laid the laser back in the top cam to check? Remember you moved the bottom cam so the laser laid on the top aiming at the bottom will change.
question, If I shoot often (1-2 a week) how often should I wax my stings? Great video as always. I wish I had a friendly bow shop like the Bow n Arrow shop near me.
Great video. Just bought a SS34 last weekend and set it up in my garage. Great shooting bow. Can you provide some info on the laser you use to check cam lean? I'm interested in getting one, but can only seem to find round laser pointers. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hello there, I would like to buy bow tech ss34 soon, but I am 5 feet 3 inches in height, is that bow to big for me considering that it is 30 plus I think from axle to axle, hope to hear from you soon, by the way been a subscriber to your channel and also was once a customer of Bow and Arrow Shop, and as they say them is the best shop ever .
@@BowDisciples l was on the fence between buying the SS34 and the Athens Archery Vista 35. Bowtech's tuning system has everybody beat, but the Vista is also easy to tune, doesn't require a bow press, has terrific balance, a great string angle, no resistance at full draw, and a smooth draw cycle too! It also costs about $100 less, and is available in a wide variety of customizable limb and riser color combos. It is America's best kept archery secret! As for Bowtech, just when it seems the "perfect compound bow" has been introduced, a glitch appears. I was very excited about this bow, but glad I waited on making a purchase. I used to own a Bowtech Boss, and this geometry reminded me of that 2016 marvel. The SS 34 is the proverbial rose--with thorns. This could have been prevented if more time and money had been put into R&D! However, I suspect they'll find a way to fix it with their 2024 model.
Great questions James, I do in fact wax my string. Got that habit from drysuit scuba diving, gotta keep the zipper waxed too.
Bingo!

Depends! I would say anytime the string starts to look frayed at all would be a good time! For some peope, that is more often, for others less.
Nice tech work cool video.
Thanks brotha! Have a great day
I'm shooting a new SS34 and it's the best bow I've ever shot!!!!

I'm not sure what the tool is called, I can ask next time I go in 👌
I'd like to know more about using beeswax as string wax. I picked up a block today for $1.75.... it's a little on the hard side.
Can always warm it up a tad to soften before you apply 👍
Ss34 is good bow , thinking about getting one
Let me know!
i agree with beeswax for the strings , you get it for free if you know someone who has hives and produces honey !

I think it would probably work depending on your draw length
@@BowDisciples thank you for your immediate response
You bet
Is James the one who wants a custom bow? 🤔
Not this time 😜
U should
Serving separation issues have been found on the SS 34. BUT NO DEALER WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT.
Roger that
