I need to hold my breath everytime I pull my succulents from the soil but watching you pulling out the succulents like a grass makes me feel that I need to train my succulent to be strong as yours too 😂😂😂😂
I could watch you reset your garden for days! I watch your videos while doing dishes and live vicariously through you as I’m here in Oregon where it’s still freezing and a bit rainy and I won’t be reworking my plants for a bit longer yet. Your videos are my sunshine! Much love to you guys ❤️
Hello Laura from Melbourne Australia. Love your videos! I spent last year dealing with cancer and I found you on utube while in hospital and started planting succulents. I just love it. The cancer is gone and I have this wonderful new hobby. Thank you so much.
Not only that you teach us about the nurturing of plants, you also demonstrate your good heart. I send good wishes for well being to Greg and your friend. Love to you, Laura!
I love how delicate you aren't when reconstructing. Shows how tough the plants are. Succulent "rabbit holes" are easier and so much fun thanks to your instructions. Thank you!
You are my all time favorite person! Cannot believe you don’t have 1million more subscribers. Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for all of the videos Sending prayers of recovery to your friend
This is very helpful as Fred has run crazy in my garden, snaking around other plants, crawling across the ground, invading the space. Now I know what to do. Thanks, Laura.
Once in a lifetime (couple years ago) I planted just 4 pumpkins. And one of them got heavily crested. We had no idea what is it. But it looked quite spectacular:) Fred Ives are so easy to multiply. Each ex-leaf spot on the steam growing new plant in a matter of days.
Hellooooo Laura I love watching your videos. You're so natural with your succulents. So rough sometimes, but even so I think your succulents can feel your love because they are soooo beautiful!
Happiy Valentines day to you two ! prayers for Tim and Leona for continued get well wishes..... Yes wishing California was closer to Minnesota and the outside temperature was the same especially this time of the year it has been below zero here lately...... Would love some of the cuttings you have extra......
Wow! I love Graptoveria Fred Ives. I got to know about them simply because one or more of them appears in your lovely videos. So as I collect various plants on my travels around the garden centres, I’ve been desperately trying to find Fred Ives here in southern Spain but until this week had no luck and mourned the lack of species here in general........until at last! I found a nursery in Spain that has some pups for sale, online. Bit expensive but it is something new here so it is worth it to get one early. Yay! Thanks for the great video, Laura. Good job! xx
Ghost plants and Fred Ives are the little black dress of succulents -- they self propagate like crazy and I have them everywhere. I'm in hot inland So Calif - they are tough and can handle our 90-100+ degree temps with grace! Get well soon Tim
Oh your yard is making me green with envy🧟♂️🤪....but seriously it’s amazing. I can appreciate it doesn’t happen overnight and comes from love. However , I have not gotten to the point where I could manhandle my plants ...I’m afraid to hurt them. I also tend to overwater so I have to restrain myself. You have such a healthy symbiotic relationship with your plants...it’s a beautiful thing. Thank you for letting me tag along. Fred’s head would b so nice as a wedding bouquet.
Happy Valentine's day from Kissimmee fl.. beautiful garden a serenity for sure. Love watching your videos I've learned so much from you therefore I'm not afraid of cutting my succulents anymore. Every time I do I say.. if you're succulents stands up you've done your job!!😁
I love these reworking videos! I too think you should have more subscribers! I also love the vertical garden videos and rain gutters are the best! I have 5 5 footers outside my daycare entrance. They are fabulous. Dealing with some pests hopefully I have cured that issue!
I'm so jealous... I have ONE Fred Ives, and it cost $5 and it's about half the size of one of the pups you cut off that first plant! And sending lots of positive thoughts for your friends and for Greg.
Firstly, I pray Tim and Greg a quick recovery. Now as for.those beautiful Fred Ives I need to get more for my garden. They are so hardy and yours look so punk and pretty. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed.
I have Fred Ives. Mine stays more yellow/mauve, but love it. Prayers for Tim. God Bless him, and continuing healing for your husband. I’m planting a small area in front by my mailbox today. Got all my cuttings, rocks and small boulders. So excited!! Let’s see if it is as easy as you make it look. 😎❤️🙏🏼
Laura - You have inspired me so much, your tips are giving me a new passion... Succulent rehab from my recent transplant. I hope your friend recovers quickly, I feel for him having spent so much time there myself.
Wow ! I’d pay good money for the cuttings ! They’re amazing! Fred is my favorite. Ghost plant varieties too . I was hooked on the fancy import ones for awhile. But they’re big magnets. .I’m ready to sell a bunch . Great video. Thank you 😊
Your garden is beautiful. Just the way I like it!! Glad that you mentioned how to trim the alluadia procera in a previous episode. I have one and it is only one branch. I want to cut the top so it make multiple branches

Hello Laura I’ll certainly look out for Fred Ives for my garden Happy Valentine to you, it was yesterday here because of the time difference in Australia 🙋♀️❤️❤️❤️🥰🦜🦘🦘🦘🦜
I just realized both of my favorite gardeners are named Laura, you and Laura at garden answer.I'm up in oceanside and grow a lot of the same succulents you do.I also grow tillandsias, and have perinneal and annual gardens. It's what i love about cali,we can grow almost anything and can do so most of the year. I've been watching you for quite awhile now, can't remember if i ever posted before.I'm a young 82 years old, but" i still get out there and dig in the dirt".It's what keeps me young...LOL
I love that you call it "the garden of death"...haha My husband and I are medical so I have always called that area "Intensive care". I hate to see struggling plants. He always wants to save everything! So sick, scarred plants go out of sight to "ICU". Misnomer, I guess, as in ICU constant intense care is the norm. Anyway...out of sight for me is best.
Thank you! Your videos are always excellent and have really been calming for me in these times. Fred Ives are going to be my first purchase after the quarantine is over! I live in HOT San Jose Ca. and think I’ll give these a try. I don’t really have a shady spot from the afternoon sun. I love their colors. Any other suggestions for for colorful succulents in zone 9B with full hot afternoon sun? Thank you again for the excellent videos!
I have something going on with my succulents I can't tell what it is... how do I send a picture to get am ides.... comments on the video I do have a "garden of death" little pots that I put stems and possible dead but reversible plants. I do get excited when little pups come off of them. You live so close I work in san carlos... great videos. Love your garden love your work. Keep it up! The info is always helpful!!
I need to know where you buy your succulents from. I want that frank 🤣 I have a tiny garden on my balcony (all containers) and I'm loving succulents more than the flowers I have and when the flowers die, I'm replacing them with succuelnts ! Easier to care for !
I need to hold my breath everytime I pull my succulents from the soil but watching you pulling out the succulents like a grass makes me feel that I need to train my succulent to be strong as yours too 😂😂😂😂
Just love how you handle succulents so roughly and not even planting the cuttings! Cracks me up!!!
Your yard maintenance videos are my favorites!! Keep them coming ☺️🌵
That’s hilarious! “I LOVE this plant!” (Yank) 😆
