The funny thing is most (if not all) of these have been fixed by modders. That's why a lot of them don't even try anymore because they know mooders will always find a way.

On Mineplex, which was by far the most popular Minecraft server like 2015ish (until it died and Hypixel became a superpower) when someone gets banned, their anticheat is a guardian named GWEN. The cheater would be frozen and GWEN would spawn no matter the minigame or lobby and shoot lasers at the cheater, vaporizing them and text would pop up saying "GWEN IS WATCHING" 😂

The best part of the videos that make weird things happen to the player of a cracked game is when they go post in the official steam forums about the "bug" they encountered, asking to be fixed. More so if Devs answer with something like "that's anti-crack measures, buy the game :)"

The dunce cap on GTA wasn't just for cheaters it was for bad sport players, (players who would constantly destroy other players vehicles and screw with other players nonstop almost)
IIRC the Bovine Defence Force initiative didn't work that well as people started to exploit that too.
Thing about the witcher cow cheat is eventually players found a way to kill the boss and make even more money off it,making the boss the new money glitch
The _Banjo-Kazooie_ one is honestly unfair. All the other games on this list talk about how hackers and pirates get punished and it's great that the developers programed their games to do that since hackers and pirates do deserve it. But with _Banjo-Kazooie_ the devs purposely put in cheat codes like a LOT of games back in the NES/SNES/N64 days did and then punished players for using said cheat codes. Imagine using the Konami Code in a game, only to then be punished for it. If Rare didn't want players to "cheat" at their game, maybe they shouldn't have put those cheat codes into their game to begin with.
You can tell how uneducated you are because a lot of those games do punish you for using the Konami code. Even updated versions of the games still have the Konami code implemented in their game and punish you if you use it because it is a CHEAT. It gives an unfair advantage by using it. It just seems like you can't handle when you have to take responsibility for your dumb decisions.
Imagine living 7000 years to be unbanned from Monster Hunter only to have the servers finally go down the day before your ban is up.
Havent watched it yet, but my personal favorite is "undertale". General description is, at the end of the game, a character shows up to tell you how good of an ending you got. If you hack the game, the character
1. Acknowledges that you shouldn't have gotten that ending
2. Suggests reporting it to the creator if it was a bug
3. Ends off by calling you a "dirty hacker".
In Xenoverse too if you cheat at all with like having 12 health bars the game actually will give your opponent increase damage output meaning one punch does damage to your whole character. Killing you in one hit. They don't even ban you, they just let you live with the fact you bought mods for $59 to 1

Punishing people on a single player game is wild unless it was pirated, even then for me, it depends on the dev cause some devs are complete shite.
Scotty you were probably in Jr High when Jade Empire came out. The game was basically Kung Fu Star Wars minus the lightsabers.

In the 'Rust' video clip featuring the best Rust admin, *Camomo.* The admins of a server have the ability to run plug-ins into their console to troll cheaters or suspected cheaters. (Rockets up the a**, get dropped from sky, even a plug-in to invert recoil control to make any gun shoot downwards, on top of being able to ensure they don't do damage to any other players, most of the time ends with the person being sat infront of their own base watching it be obliterated in front of them helplessly.) #rustadminabuse 😂 2:45

In Command and Conquer back in the day, if you used cheats a black cloud would spawn in that just rolled around the map destroying anything and everything in it's path. 9 year old me found it absolutely terrifying.

Some of these are really creative. I just remember in some I played where the GM would just randomly appear, so not as creative, but they were real people who vould troll you, which was still fun.
Too be fair, if a company can shut down service to a game and make it unplayable, it’s not pirating. Same with games that don’t have discs, and services that have announced they can delete your library.

Jade Empire was like Kung Fu Mass Effect, Big Good or evil story line with multiple choices that impact the story, but instead of space stuff it ancient Chinese Kung Fu... Also made by Bioware.
Earthbound's antipiracy measures were nuts as well. Most people didn't get far enough to get the final payload, but for a SNES RPG, it was especially cruel. Early repros had the issue as well.
I would love to have dev put the cheater in a stock and call out to all players on the game to tp to the cheater location. Then they auction off the cheaters stuff, then the account is banned forever.

I have an odd feeling that about a majority of those games that were pirated probably had those implemented by the people that provided the pirated versions. FNaF more specifically because there are like... an entire collection of those games, so you wouldn't know which one was really messed with.
Also don't use Pirate Bay. You're setting yourself up for getting scammed. Fitgirl Repack is better.

Back in 2016, I developed a Zelda clone on the NES, and if the anti-piracy check failed, or the game's RAM has been tampered with (cheating), the game's music is replaced with the Hydlide theme, and you can no longer attack, instead being forced to bump into monsters, and losing health in the process. :P
The game could technically be beaten in that state, but it'd be VERY unpleasant, lol.

Serious Sam III anti-cheat was kinda fun...if you knew exactly where Scorpion appears, you can avoid seeing him for a while.
Unfortunately, that doesn't give a lot of play-space and there isn't any way to sneak around him...
