Also, give some thought what dept. you want to work in after graduation, med-surg, tele, ER, ICU,. It is not a given you will get your preferred department. Most of the nurses coming out now, do not get the dept. they want unless as a CNA they did not work in the area or maybe they have no hospital experience....Most hospitals don't hire new grads in ICU, ER, Surg.
