Cons 1. The 4K HDMI loop-out port is not needed. That port could have been used for a dedicated multiview output, while the other HDMI out becomes a dedicated program-out port. 2. All the big volume nobs could have alternated for additional HDMI inputs to make it 8 channels 3. There is no on board switcher menu for manipulating switcher settings but that's okay since they considered reducing cost. 4. Very confusing toggling between preview, program and multiview mode with those 1-2-3 buttons. 5. The power button was positioned at the wrong place on the switcher. Moreover it looks exactly like any other button on the switcher. 6. Power button doesn't completely put off the switcher but to a standby mode. (I cannot tell if other also experience that) Pros 1. Build quality is excellent 2. Doesn't overheat - the operating temperature is okay 3. The video quality is also good 4. Two ways of powering it on - a great option with type-c power option (power delivery) and a normal 12v power adapter. This is something no manufacturer has ever than in the switcher business 5. Having a total of 5 HDMI inputs is a great option 6. Having the 5th HDMI Input to be 4k is also great 7. The ability to detach the switching board from the connection board is great because no other switcher manufacturer does that. Is it a great purchase? Answer: Yes, but they need to work on the cons by releasing a firmware update. *There is no slot for pendrive or sdcard recording

I bought this and I'm having a hard time getting consistent frame rate. I have a beast of a computer. The signal out of the HDMI out looks fine, but I'm running this into my computer via USB. I wonder if it's something to do with that? If I have to go buy a capture card, then I'm going to trash this because what's the point? I could have just bought the Elgato Camlink Pro and put that in my computer.
You didn’t mention, but I guess still no 4k 60 output? on any brand, not just this one. Even on $1000+ switches (while a 4 CamLink 4k setup is just a bit over $400). So I’m still stuck with a multiple CamLink 4k setup and toggling sources from OBS/StreamDeck. A switcher would have been really nice… if it was just a bit over the stone age 4k 30 that Fred Flintstone was using
The video looks like crap man..like under 30fps..its wierd...I dont like it..I was excited about the price and the specs..butt he video honestly can't be handled u can tell

Does this stream out in 4K 30 via the USB?

I have 2 Camlink 4K's for my other PC's and an ATEM Mini. Between this guy and that other guy, neither of them mentioned the resolution via USB-C.
Does the UVC out support 50fps correctly ?
