That yard design makes for some very interesting operations. The main CN yard in Toronto, MacMillan Yard, is a stub end yard as well. Very unique arrangement.
@@jasonweir6345 Thank you! The prototype yard in Wichita is actually double-ended but making it stub ended for my layout was the only way I could get the length I wanted for my space. I can't wait for the day when I have two operators working each side of the yard at the same time...it would be neat to watch.
Great switching ops. I found a video for you on the the Royal Gorge that is shot from the cab and it runs the whole length so you can pick what area you want. It’s a 6 year old video on Tims video channel 1 no spaces called Royal Gorge Route Railroad-Drivers Eye View. Hopefully my message doesn’t get deleted.
