Because people have terrible taste in music now a days. What hits Me hard is the very end when You can hear him almost crying, that really hits My soul to the core. 😭
josh nadeau In the post-hardocre scene, he is pretty widely known as one of the best, pure vocalist over the past 10 years. In terms of singing, there's only a few guys that are even close to his level in the genre his bands typically fall in. The awesome thing is, he's self taught. He's never taken any formal singing lessons.
VolumeZ yeah I haven't really listened to him a whole lot the last song I liked by them was called my soul is empty and full of white girls pretty sure that's on was about heroin LOL anyways. I happen to be fans of well Dallas from Alexisonfire that's going back a little bit but other than that I think Danny and Landon are the two best vocalist right now at least for my liking... that's cool that he's self-taught though for sure!
josh nadeau Landon is awesome! You are talking about The Plot in You, correct? If so, yea, I agree Landon is up there. That dude is so creative. He definitely has a bright future ahead of him. Jonny is my guy though. I don't think I've followed any other vocalists story, as much as I've followed his, over the past 8-10 years. Seen Jonny live, in his various bands, like 15 times. I have a plain white T, that I take to any show he's involved in and have him sign it in a different color everytime. It's pretty awesome. He expects it, when he comes to Dallas at this point. He's so cool about it. Some of the other band members from slaves tried to get in on singing it, the last show I went to, in February and he was like "Back up, BACK UP! This dude has came to pretty much every single show, I've been at in Dallas, for the past, FUCK, who knows how long and had me sign this shirt. This is MY thing." He was just fucking around. It was funny as hell.
VolumeZ yeah Landon's good I mean Danny has an amazing voice to and then also Dallas from Alexisonfire he's got a pretty good voice to! Luckily I'm going to actually get to see The Plot In You on April 7th here in Michigan I'm so pumped they're going to be with We Came As Romans which is okay but oceans ate Alaska will also be there I think that'll be quite a banger there!
Being someone who doesn’t have my father in my life. Has an unstable relationship with my mother and family. Abusing alcohol. Suffering from PTSD & manic depression. This songs hits home for me.
Jonny Craig, I Love You buddy! I can feel every emotion that You're going through in this song & for some reason I relate so much to this song I burst out into tears especially when You start belting. I know My Father didn't leave at a young age & My Mother was there for Me but just know You're not alone Jonny. I look forward to collaborating with You one day Brother! God bless & have a great eternity! ✝️✝️✝️
A few days ago my sister sent me this song. We've been through so much together. I've pulled her from the depths of her hell. She's done the same for me. I can't lose her. She's all that matters to me in this world now. I want to save her.
Keep being there for her, you're doing great. If it's about addiction, then she has to be the one who wants to quit, you can't make her (sadly). You both can do this as long as you don't quit on each other and yourselves ❤️
Thank you for the kind words. I never plan on leaving her side. We made promises to have each other's back for all of eternity. We both meant those words.
I’m so glad that this is the track that ended the album, such a beautiful and honest song. Jonny really shows his passion for his work and I love this song to death.
this album is easily the best thing Jonny has been a part of since Downtown Battle Mountain II (not that the competition is that stiff for that tbh) and his best vocal performance since Emarosa's s/t imo. Definitely the best Slaves record; I'm actually able to imagine that this is what Emarosa would sound like by now if they continued with Jonny. Music is actually much more varied and interesting than their first two. Too bad its over but I hope JC ends up back in a band again. Honestly highly doubt it, at the most he'll probably just start his solo career up again, but I do hope.
His voice always gets me emotional, even if I can’t directly relate to this song I still feel emotional. Especially since I know close friends and family members who can relate to this song.
Why isn't this a huge hit on the radio? Let's make it happen it's due time for Jonny to get the recognition for his talent
Cause he's a big piece of shit! that's why!
@@rickneibauer1 why? I dont really know the band, only this song. So sorry in advance for my ignorance
So are al lot of the people on radio.

One of the most underrated vocalist in my opinion.... Am i alone?

If he wasn’t one of the biggest douche bags to walk the face of planet earth he would have gone a lot further with his talent.
As a jonny fan for 10+ years. This legitimately brings tears to my eyes. Chills all over my body at 2:53 to the end. My god, this is incredible.
