God This brings back memories, Remember it took me forever to get through midnight raid on Guadalcanal To begin with, They don't make them like this and frontline anymore
The only FPS WWII shooter to feature a mission in the Philippines. The Philippines saw some of the bloodiest battles during the war especially the battle of Manila (worse than Stalingrad) yet developers over the years continue to ignore its significance.
I remember me and a group of my friends got to talking about this game and my buddy asked me what my favorite mission was and I told him it was the one with the bridge and you got to ride the elephant and I remember him looking at me like I was crazy. He didn’t believe there was an elephant in the game so I had to come just to confirm it🤣🤣🤣 I briefly remembered it myself.

Thank you for posting this i rember back when i was in elementary school my dad went to blockbuster and came back with this game and it was the best thing ever. Thank you for bringing back my childhood
Man, as soon as I heard those explosions and guns, my PTSD- PlayTillSleepDeprivation kicked back in. Every time I got home, I hopped on my PlayStation 2 and didn’t get off until late.
Reading the comments tells me wayyyyy more people than I could have expected had the same or very similar experience as I did. I also played these games with my dad, who is now deceased. Medal of Honor Frontline, Rising Sun, and European Assault, as well as Call of Duty: Big Red One. SOCOM: US Navy Seals, among some others I'm probably forgetting. He passed right before my 13th birthday leaving me with a lot of what ifs. I'm watching these long plays now and man it brings me back, whether that is a good thing or not. Thanks for uploading and taking the time to play these clunky old games lol.
This game was so good and when i was a kid, my grandma bought it for me and i played split screen a lot with my brother even the multiplayer but against bots. The multiplayer of this game was the one that got me into competitive fps games
i remember playing this game over and over but i could never get past the second mission where i had to press the "action" button to pick up the tank axle. I had no idea what the "action" button was, it wasnt written down anywhere on the controller lmao. I later learned it was the "select" button that was the action button. I played the first 2 missions over and over and over. What a great game XD

I played this game when it first came out and remember I got emotional from the opening scene/act. My wife looked at me and said “Is that a tear, are you crying?” Lol
What an absolute classic. Used to play this with 4 players on gamecube. People gave that console a lot of flak but it was the only one that really supported 4 player games at the time (Dreamcast doesn't count).

Remember you can save allies and use machetes on playthroughs. Lots of cool things on this game. Lots of cool things here Like the sound effect for walking on metal is the same from allied assault, Its used in the first cod as well.
Used to play this with my dad all the time back in the day, seeing this again brings back so many memories but I find it funny that you carry 20 grenades nowadays haha
Born on Pearl Harbor Day (not the actual time it happened 😂) so this game was special to me. Imagine a remake😮 Medal of Honor gave me so much interest in the events of WWII.

I wouldn't say Manila was worse than Stalingrad when Stalingrad killed 1.9 million people
there's nothing worse than stalingrad, all philippines battles together is like 1 day in stalingrad^^
