I believe kent hovind answered this perfectly during a debate with 3 other professors.
I like this sermon because it touches some forgotten fundamentals!
However, I strongly feel that these 'extra fillings and personal opinions' should be avoided!
These tendencies seem to express or insinuate a view not explicit in the Word.
Nor is it considered part of the Message nor context!
Leave such subjective things for private interpretation for the individual as he study the Scriptures!.
Do not teach nor preach opinions.
The written word is sufficient
I hear what you’re saying but I think one of the strengths of David Guzik’s preaching is that he makes it relatable. I prefer this than some of the dry expository teaching out there. Thankfully, the Lord uses all types of people to present His gospel. ❤
Can you give an example of the fillers or opinions you’re talking about please? Are you talking about him quoting the commentators?
