This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef, this little piggy had none, this little piggy.. brought a sword? and now your mana crystals are gone!
Currently working on a commander deck with the commander being Volos, Itenerant Scholar with the Background Haunted One. It's Wizard tribal deck with different tribed Waizards and I named the deck "Cas' Diverse Wizard Academy" a bit of an ETB and Aristocrat theme since my commander can so easily give my creatures undying and I have cards like Retribution of the Ancients to remove the +1/+1 counters from my creatures so they can have undying again. Really excited to finish building it and play test it.
Hello mr marshie! Just wondering: any chance we can get deck intros back in the future? Considering you usually make your own decks, or at least have a reason for picking out specific lists, it was always very nice to get an insight on some specific cards youre either testing out, or are match-up specific. Even if it is a low effort 15 sec intro done during stream, I always appreciated your input on the deckbuilding :)
My two favorite South Park moments are 1. When Stan finally returns the margarita maker to the Treasury dept and we see the chicken/kazoo scene. And 2. The cash for gold loop song where I think Matt bups the whole song as an example that they just left in. You should recreate that song with Renee for an Martian ending next time you play with boars.
Game one feels like a strategy I would start, immediately realize is bad but feel too flustered to backtrack on so continue on with anyway while wallowing in dispair
Dear Martin Butt: There is only the best sandwich for the moment. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold. The best sandwiches are just reflections of your current state. I say this as an avid sandwich lover. Also, Banh Mi is an S tier sandwich. When you try it, make sure you get double pork though. I feel like the traditional ratios are incorrect and reflect the trying times and locale of its origins.
Also void ripper was a hilarious warlock control piece with those 3/9 voidlords. you'd sit with a big defense board after n'zoth, and if they left the hp hi on the taunts, or popped the voidlords you could just win the game. you were usually looking for at least 1 voidlord and then 4 voidcaller's worth of value in control matchups. It was suboptimal because you could just lose a game on a bad demon summon, but ripping a fat board off a bloodreaver Gul'dan, showing 7-9 damage and then ripping face for 20 plus shadow bombs/hero power was a very satisfying experience.
It is a fantastic card especially into aggro decks. I'm 7-1 into Shadow Priest and the 1 loss I have, I drew 0 messmakers and 0 cards which can grab me Messmaker.
I think specifically for this deck (and in extension priest in general?), since it can be copied and seeked and rezzed easily by the same cards that helps boar, it is an okay card as a anti board tool
Hey Martian, I don't know if you'd be interested or not but I have recently been playing an Amalgam Hunter list and it's been doing pretty well. 69% winrate (nice) over almost 40 games, and I'm at about 250 legend rn. It's a sad time into Questline DH but does really well vs everything else, even Demon Seed and Spell Damage Druid. Anyways if you're interested here's the list: AAEBAdGLBQaggAOP4wPbkQSZrQSUoQaW0wYM/7oD5u4Dw4AEqZ8E0uQEp6QFmfYF6qUG3LgGzsAGi9YGx/UGAAA=
Boar priest with quest is usually much slower since you are -1 card draw from the start and you seriously rely on racing to get the combo off ASAP, and the extra taunt/heal from quest reward won't even matter if you can kill your opponent 1 turn sooner
priest is almost unplayable in standard, in wild really only aggro and reno get played. viewer complains about long games against a thief priest. this is why priest is banned from having good cards
Not gonna lie when i queue into such a boaring match up i just concede.
Same here. Pig comes down, that's my exit.
i do the same when i play vs quest warlock

Would play this deck myself, but heard it was pretty BOARING to play
Get it? Cause BOAR-ing? Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa!a! Lol! Xdddd!

The more this played the better my silence priest deck is
played against an account called "martian" while playing this deck while watching martian play this deck.
Boar priest is somehow always 1 new card away from being really good

I love Questline Demon Hunter and would absolutely watch you play it for hours

I have two commander decks too, a green red white, egg deck that summons big beefy boys. And a red black burn deck. I like them both :3

I played against this deck yesterday as even shaman
We went to fatigue because they kept resummoning Mess Makers instead of boars
I can't put my finger on which card that says " You think this is funny?" when attacking?

Better

I love how the best way to play around boar priest is to do nothing for 7 turns and die
I'm here to comment just to skewer the engagement dominance of Ice Block.
Hearthstone has always been about BOAR control
People talk about how the board doesn't matter, but in this deck the boar-d absolutely matters!
why is my favourite ice block themed channel not talking sbout ice block???
Druid does well because I’ll rewatch it 10 times at least, because spending 40 mana on turn 5-6 is unmatched experience
Is this a somewhat viable deck (around tier 2) or is it a meme?
I think I went 9-4
Patches the pilot is a good one drop for dh
Hi marsh is I love the late night vids it’s perfect for winding down
I love boar priest tbh
Some people may find this deck boaring, but personally I'm on board with this.
is messmaker a good card now? I always thought it was pack filler trash but it's popping up in some decks

With all the 1-health aggro cards out there, you're essentially paying 3 Mana to heal and potentially board clear.
I'd say that's pretty good 👍
it was never pack filler, you evaluated it wrongly on release

been playing a lot of boar priest with the quest and it is a really bad game/draw that i dont have my 40 health minion waiting on turn 6.
