    THIS, is the William Regal that we’ve needed for a long long time. Time for him to show this generation what a true heel is. I don’t think anyone portrays a better wrestling villain than Regal. So good to see this side of him again after all these years.

      Yeah. One of my favourite heels ever. When I was a marking out teenager watching him in the Attitude era I never fully appreciated just how masterful he was at it because I just loathed him. I love what they're doing with him. I love that he's in the main event picture with MJF and Moxley.

    Regal is a genius. Most people doubted whether such a widely respected industry veteran could get actual heel heat, but Regal did it in less than a minute. A genius on the mic, a genius in the ring.

    What's fascinating is that Regal didn't do anything new or unexpected or unanticipated here. Every line was classic textbook heel 101 stuff. It's just that he did it all incredibly WELL. His heel work is like his in-ring work. He doesn't need lots of flips and flourishes, because he's so good at the fundamentals.

      Loved every min of Regal's promo. But I can't lie the rest needed a rework. BD playing the role of "child not wanting mommy and daddy to fight"/"AA sponsor" was just weird. And Mox turning into Simba at the end of Lion King was equally weird.

    Man the crowd was hot for Moxley tonight. Never heard a crowd boo and ignore Danielson like that. The lion king reference with "Run away and never come back" was great too. Excited to see where this leads too.

      I hope it all leads to a big endgame storyline. MJF, Mox, Hangman, The Elite, CM Punk. Their character motives now are a causation by All Out Scrum which makes me think this is all a work. I don't think you can have a billion dollar backup, all these legends and minds, innovators like Bryan, Mox, Punk, Omega, in one company and not have them do something that never been done before.

    Moxley's face at the end was a look of pure internal conflict. He's furious at Regal's treachery, but he showed mercy to a man that was a vital part of his career and life. Regal didn't flinch or show fear because he knew what was coming. Beautiful storytelling.

    I don't know if it was just me, but the anticipation for them to start fighting etc like ''usual'' was massive. The fact they didn't and ended the segment like that... AMAZING. Really felt the awkwardness, the emotions behind it and it literally being on the cusp of exploding but it didn't. That just elevated it that much more and made it that much more personal. Regal is masterful with his faces and reactions. Really enjoyed it, great work! Comment if you agree

    Mox was really emotional at the end, when Regal was walking away. He teared up because he really respects & loves Regal for all that Regal has done for him. I know it's a storyline but there is some realness to this & that's what makes this good. Hopefully it goes in a great direction

    Regal has always been a classic heel and this angle is genius. I see Danielson aligning with Regal and MJF soon, he always comes out of the heel tunnel which has been a clue all along.

    Regal plays every role with such perfection. His "heel" turn was deliberately cruel and so well done. This man was a huge pickup for AEW, and he has been a great shot in the arm for this company. Regal plays the hierarchical snob so well he'll be a perfect fit with MJF. This is going to be a great feud/storyline!

    Oh Boy! What a powerful segment. but I can relate with Jon's anger due to the betrayal as far as having to contain yourself given the level of intensity that was transpiring at this time. Truly epic & why I feel that AEW just continues to raise the bar. I get it that Jon was to go on vacation but to lose the title in this way is describable. Can't wait to see where this is going to go. Just Wow!!
