Great video. A couple observations for my install. First, you don't need to remove anything from the truck, just turn your wheels out on whatever side you're working on. Your arm will get a little squished by the plastic, but it's not that bad. Second, it's easier if you pop the outside bracket from the front of the truck first and then pop the inside bracket from under the truck.
How are you liking them? I have stock cracked plastic and would like to replace the whole thing with this kit. Are they holding up for the price and look good at night?
@@minecrafter4623 Yes. They were great, especially because it was cheap to install. I ended up selling the truck and the new owner bought complete LED replacement lights for $1300. But, for under $80 I believe it was, it was so worth it.
These lights are so simple to install! Thanks for the video. Had them both in in 15 mins Only issue I had was my old ones were so corroded I had to replace the original connectors. Couldn’t get them out on the light in one piece.
Just installed these on a 2015 f150 XLT but they aim too low. The fog light impacts the top of the plastic housing and won’t aim any higher. They are way below what you have them at in this video.
You need to use FORScan to change the settings. Once you get FORScan (and an OBD2 Scanner like OBDLink MX+) you can look up the values to change to enable Bambi Mode.
Thanks! I got the grill from a seller on Amazon. I don't think the seller is even on the platform anymore. I paid around $250 for it. I am also pretty sure it would not support the front camera.
@goodcleanfun,, How did you enable Bambi mode? I have a 2015, getting ready to install those same LED lights, Thanks for the video! btw, just found this video
I had to do this through FORScan. You connect to the vehicle's computer with a laptop and you can change how your vehicle operates. Search "Bambi mode forscan" and I am sure you'll find videos on it.
The ones I have are not sold anymore, but these ones should work. www.amazon.com/OFFROADTOWN-Square-Driving-Lights-Trucks/dp/B088JTHRY7/ref=sr_1_29?crid=3D5F8JWQT2ISN&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.aEkcrcGdl35ogP77-SLWtOlJ-pkJgEbOiDrJtsbTdPj7emYmp3xcad9JbP6bC1EMaO8kMXKJnFEBorVe4MuMwa5Jflc_4qPDOMNhRG0LhQWrPkBionf25i9PkGeB81G-_xKpTKoYsghZRSXLlQKJjYP6TW767mKmqfPRqJDR5z65t0iDr2saTzAhUVbswoI3UBPcqIuGjGya2URkL7kUQt3WS8mdrbVu85fH0dit--RJq6ieY89lAZlQ53iTYjvV-IZkAp7YHXi8c7r1dA5BMU1KQEa_Q2cSa8gCsvk5RRc.mzVQ2eEQuAmcvG83jPG58YZM5WFf2You1g2qFscdCjA&dib_tag=se&keywords=LED%2BPods%2BSpot%2BLight%2BBar&qid=1710091394&sprefix=led%2Bpods%2Bspot%2Blight%2Bbar%2B%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-29&th=1
I doubt you would have any ideas on this but I bought this product and I’m having them flicker between the white and yellow. Any ideas on why this could be happening? I’m thinking bad wiring
They came with the truck. I don't think they were part of any package though. It may be indigenous to the Lariat trim. If it fits my truck it would fit yours, but you may need a converter if you're going from halogen to LED.
The aftermarket tires do have a significant reduction in MPG compared to the stock wheels. These are 305/55/20 so not only are they taller, but they are much wider as well. I mostly drive around town in this truck and I get between 15 to 16 mpg.
Can you elaborate on this "Bambi" mode?? I'm upgrading my dogs right now on my 2019, sure would love to have full output on all lights like this lol. Comes in handy when that smartass wants to flash his lights because he thinks mine are on bright. I really, REALLY like to show them they're wrong 😂😂🤣🤣
For my 2018 F-150 XL, I needed to get a bumper with the foglight cutouts, then swap out a wiring harness (easy) and the dashboard switch. There are other videos on YouTude showing exactly what parts are needed and how to do it. Hardest part for me was working in the cramped space behind the new lights.

thank you! This is SUPER helpful
Thank you for this video. I just completed mine! The hardest part is just getting the darn thing out. I appreciate the help!
Glad to hear!

Looks great! Never understood why ford didn’t go LED for the fog lights to match the headlights. Matches up well and looks great!
They did with led equipped trucks from 2018 and up
My 18 lariat has led but I’m changing to these look brighter in my option
These lights are so simple to install! Thanks for the video. Had them both in in 15 mins Only issue I had was my old ones were so corroded I had to replace the original connectors. Couldn’t get them out on the light in one piece.
Bought the loot and it does come with its own plastic piece, screw and spring. I used the old screw and spring seemed to work fine.
Just installed mine. Video made it easy to do. Thanks for the help!
Thank you this was a great video. I just purchased my fog lights and you help me a lot. Thank you.
You can just measure the distance of the spring before you remove it. Save you time so you don't to adjust the beam.
Just got these. Installing Monday thanks for the video
How they been holding up?
Thanks for your video, I just put the lights on my truck myself, yes I did 👌🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent!
Great video. You have guys taking the whole bumper, wheel liner off
I just put led bulbs in the factory housings.
great video thank you so much i have a 2018 with amber lights like using 2 candles must change them all
Thank you for the video.
Very helpful. 👍
Hi, where did you get those led lights embedded into the grill (left and right, 3.5 x 3.5" square led lights) ??? Looks great!
I bought them on Amazon. They fit perfectly in the raptor grill. Here's the link. www.amazon.com/LED-Pods-Spot-Light-Bar/dp/B09M33H3YK?th=1
Truck looks awesome 👌🏻
Just installed these on a 2015 f150 XLT but they aim too low. The fog light impacts the top of the plastic housing and won’t aim any higher. They are way below what you have them at in this video.
Hi. What mode did you enable to have your fog lights and high beams (all your lights). I'm not familiar with that
You need to use FORScan to change the settings. Once you get FORScan (and an OBD2 Scanner like OBDLink MX+) you can look up the values to change to enable Bambi Mode.
May I ask where you got the Raptor grill? Do you know if you if it supports the factory front camera? Thank you in advance and great vid BTW 👍🏼🙏🏼
Thanks, bambi mode is enabled through the FORScan software. It's not a convenient switch. There are some great videos out there on how to do it.
I've tried 2 different LED lights and got a lot of radio interference. Even with a decoder.
How did you get all the lights to go on at once? You said you enabled Bambi Mode. I get the joke, but what did you have to do to enable it?
I had to do this through FORScan. You connect to the vehicle's computer with a laptop and you can change how your vehicle operates. Search "Bambi mode forscan" and I am sure you'll find videos on it.
I'm interested in the 2 pod lights in the grill. Can I get info on them

I doubt you would have any ideas on this but I bought this product and I’m having them flicker between the white and yellow. Any ideas on why this could be happening? I’m thinking bad wiring
Flicker might be a fuse issue. That's my best guess.
Do you know the part number for the other small lights next to headlights? The one that has 4 leds
The lights are no longer available from the vender I bought them from, but they are LED pod lights that are 3 inches. I hope that helps.
Amazing!!!
Hi, where did you let your vland headlights please? Will it fit my ford lariat 2019 please ?
They came with the truck. I don't think they were part of any package though. It may be indigenous to the Lariat trim. If it fits my truck it would fit yours, but you may need a converter if you're going from halogen to LED.
Did you wire the fog lights on the grill to the OEM fog lights? And how did you do it?
those operate separately via a switch I added in the cabin. They are only used for off roading.
I just install this ones in my truck but they dint turn on, dont know if its a fuse or they are detective
Neither one turned on? Did the old ones work if you put them back? Do some testing, but definitely check the fuses first as that's a lot easier to do.
Excellent. Thx.
Are these new fog lights brighter than the factory led fog lights?
Yes, they also seem sharper
@@goodcleanfun3118like how much brighter?
What lights did you use?
Tks
Here's the link www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V4KW8K9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
How have these been holding up?
So far they have been great. No issues and still nice and bright.
@@goodcleanfun3118 cool thx
Where you get those headlights from?
Amazon, search led fog lights
👍🏻 for the video. 👎🏼 for removing the crash bars..
Thank you
Did you notice significant mpg drop with this wheels set up?
The aftermarket tires do have a significant reduction in MPG compared to the stock wheels. These are 305/55/20 so not only are they taller, but they are much wider as well. I mostly drive around town in this truck and I get between 15 to 16 mpg.
How do unlock Bambi mode??
With an obd2 adapter, a windows laptop and a program called forscan.
Can you elaborate on this "Bambi" mode?? I'm upgrading my dogs right now on my 2019, sure would love to have full output on all lights like this lol. You can enable Bambi using for forscan , when you turn ur high beams on your fogs will stay on and won’t shut off
I’d like to know as well.
Should have showed us how to unplug that
use a screwdriver
Are you interested in collaborating with us? We are willing to send you bulb samples for review. If interested, let's communicate further.
Take that ugly air damn off the bumper lol
Will this fit even on a poor man’s f150?
If there is wiring for it, it should work.
Did you notice radio interférence with theses leds
No, haven't noticed this.
