I'm not certain about this, however my cousine told me that if you put copper tape around the edge of your pots it will prevent the slugs from reaching the plant. It might be worth giving it a shot 💚 green love to you

I dont wanna be invasive of privacy and Im commenting early but Ive got concerns about latitude I hope folks can address. Im just shy of the 47th parallel and I want to learn how to approach the winter. I was thinking taking the little dudes inside and investing in a sun lamp but I feel like itd stress and stunt it.
Edit: Oh my gush it never occured to me that mulch acts like an insulator that way. I always thought about moisture retention.
