You missed such an opportunity for a joke about bum notes with Wasnatch - Front to Back. Funny as hell video though, I love laughing at old goofy record/band images.
History lesson, because for some reason I've picked this knowledge up somewhere, for reasons. Vibrators have been around since the 1920's, but they weren't called "vibrators" until the late 80's. Initially, they were meant as a medical device, to assist in recovering from "hysteria", which back then was a term for a made-up disease women could suffer from where they became irrational. Basically, and excuse to throw your daughter or wife into the asylum if you got tired of them not obeying you. The name derives from "hystera", the Greek word for uterus. After about 4 decades of quackery, some quack thought that because the word came from "uterus", it might have to do with the reproductive cycle and invented the "medical massager" to try and give the affected women "what was missing". The medical term "hysteria" disappeared shortly after, in the 30's, but the device stuck around... for "other uses". Another fun fact: The battery-powered vibrator didn't come around until the mid-80's. Before then, they were plugged into a wall socket. And yes, this did cause a fair few accidental electrocutions, especially before the electricity safety measures from the post-war era.
