I find it boring and a bit lazy sounding when it is the main drums of a track but if its layered with other drums then yes it never gets old!

Good job Hobo. Despite many critics in comments, the result sounds really good, because you made it at low cost but with a obvious skill in post-production. And that's the key. You did show how to transform existing real sounds into digital rendering. Thanks for the explanation for all drum 'n' bass amateurs in the world. ;)

I know it's been said already. BUT D&B is one of the hardest genres to produce, and also dj. Too many reasons and it seems like everyone already knows this.

Not really; the sub-bass can be added, but it has not been a defining ingredient. I have quite a few old samplers in my garage where 50Hz is about the lowest it gets. Sub bass is now prominent in popculture, but these tracks...
I think you're missing the point of the vid boys.

It was 80% samples with analog and digital piano leads. You just need creativity
That was mostly done on a Roland W-30. Rave stabs, piano, strings, breaks, boomy kick on first measure, reggae sample/vocal, 303 bassline

There are many genres of "how to music" on youtube and they often feel pretty effortless. But I was so pleasently surprised. It feels like you actually appreciate the genre or atleast have studied it somehwhat. You went beyond just the Amen. And most of all it's not some cheesy/poppy stuff but actually the sound of what a more passionate dnb head might listen to. The humor is also quite fun. The editing overall so good too. I like this a lot. Keep it up.

How to breakbeat/jungle - Special Request
0:24 instead of only eating the cherry on the cake and pooping on what's left,
take the cake, slice it up precisely into geometric shapes and try fitting it all back together differently (you can work with all angles (modulate freq, panning, transpose, distortion etc))
it's important that it in de end it's still a cake, cookie, cream, layer, frosting(?idk how to cake lol) counting: 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 one SNARE three SNARE fill up the one with emphasis on the kick and the 3 with mini snare rolls with hihats/rides/crashes in-between. maybe a little kick and ahh oops this is the recipe for breakcore-style/hardjungle. just sample that amen break and add a juicy woompy subbass, sampling can be literally anything like this d00d showed us in the tutorial

@@jk1362 It seems you've heard the modern or so called "deep/minimal" rollers. These are the current trend in dnb, for the classic example search for 2000s rollers, smashing tunes there with lots of variety within the tracks.
