Your words and thoughts have physical power.
In life many people wonder why things don't always go the way
they want them to but do not realize that in every thought they
think and words they speak starts the physical formation
of what begins to appears in our lives. It is normal to have negative
thoughts from time to time because we do not live in a perfect world,
Or Do We? The key is when a thought like that shows
up you just need to make the decision whether or not you want to
entertain that though for a long time or if you want to change the path
to a better one immediately. This is where skill comes in to play.
With all things you must practice to make perfect, all though some
are borne with more talent than other, anyone can hone the skills of
being discipline and beat there fears into submission.
it was once said "your biggest fear should be fear itself" I would have
to say this is pretty right on. Why? Because fear is a negative emotion
and because of fear you tend to pay more attention
to it which starts the physical birth of some kind of reaction.
This is why most people that fear that they are going to get hurt get
hurt more than the rest. Or think they are going to be sick and
then it happens. If you fear that you don't have enough money to
pay the bills and speak and think these thoughts and words everyday
then guess what, You are creating the physical reaction to
show up in your life. This is why it is good to marinate yourself in
unconditional love and positive good words and belief that good things are
heading your way at all times. You deserve it, It is your birthright.
Own it. except it. enjoy it. Live it. know it is in your escrow. more and more, every
moment. and when the other thoughts of fear come, Do Not Entertain
it. leave it behind and get right back on track with the truth!
Live every moment of this life like there is no tomorrow, because it is
not a rehearsal. So Start getting from it what is yours. GREATNESS!!!

maclovindotca I agree.. thats how you accomplish the things you want in your life fro sure. First you have to believe it is so and then take action in the direction of your dream. The rest will just happen in good time.

Mark Sansom I saw another clip of Will talking with someone, and the interviewer mentions that his friends all say he could be president if he wanted to, and could do anything he wanted. A person with beliefs like his is unrestrained. "Nothing can resist a will that stakes even existence for its fulfillment." In other words, he's "not afraid to die on a treadmill."

"You don't set out to build a wall. You don't say 'I'm going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built.' You don't start there. You say, 'I'm going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid. You do that every single day. And soon you have a wall."
Possibly one of the most powerful quotes I've heard.

when we are born we know nothing, what we see and who raised us is who we are, so if u were raised by the weak and powerless guess what we will be? until we realize we have no limits only those set by us, so make your choice, weak or strong, do it or don't, ultimately we can only make ourselves great or mundane, happy even

I can give you a small example. I'm nowhere near very successful right now, but I was doing general labor and pizza hut for a while. Sometimes while working I'd picture myself on an MTV style show where they show me as a filmmaker doing my thing. I started to realize I constantly heard and thought thoughts contrary to my goals at these jobs. So I quit and pursued filmmaking full time. First try I ended up getting an internship with a decamillionaire. Then I realized I was attracting more videography work than filmmaking. I quit that and worked on my filmmaking projects full time at the library. Shortly after I saw an ad about a reality show looking to make an episode about a guy making a movie. I responded 10 minutes after the ad came out and told her about the movie I'm making. The casting producer called me, and I responded quickly to everything. Three weeks later they sent a crew of 30+ people to my house to film the episode. Later I found a lot of those guys worked with MTV in the past. The episode about me will come out in two months.

Man...if you have something negative to say about that then you certainly have problems. The reason you're being negative is because the truth of what he's saying most likely offends you because it's true. Embrace the truth and stop making excuses saying he's rich and all that. He grew up just as poor as most individuals but he decided that he was better than that and so can all of you listeners. Accept responsibility for the life you live now and start making the necessary changes to get the life you want.

There is no such thing as difficulty. Easy, medium, hard. No such thing. Preference, my friends is very real however. You could be out there right now running, but its 7 A.M., cold, and your tired. You PREFER, to stay in bed where it's nice, warm, and you can go back to sleep. If you, however, PREFER to be outside at 7 A.M. in the cold running to get the body you want, you WILL get it. YOU, and I'm talking directly to YOU, YOU can achieve what ever you want to, if you PREFER to. However, if you PREFER to stay in bed, than you must PREFER the same broken results that you have right now.

The cool thing is, the more you focus on the good stuff the more good stuff that shows up... and the bad stuff seems to just makes me appreciate that much more the good stuff that surrounds me. I have raised 4 boys by myself and I kind of go though life seeing the 3 year old in everyone, before the world got to them. it makes the world a better place through kids eyes LOL :)

Much of what Smith says here is true, but we must remember: the "universe" is the PC (politically correct) term for God, used to make comfort of those who refuse believe on Him. But God moves and gives His people grace. It is as if the grace to do great is the chemical reaction to faith + good works. When you move with God, the "unrealistic" and "impossible" will happen, as it has in the past.

When you say universe you are talking about GOD because God is in everything, and the greater of all things. but you are only saying a small part of God because that is just one of the creations of GOD, Some people feel safer just talking about the hair of God instead of the whole GOD.. I'm not even sure a human can understand the whole God ha ha.. but that is a endless conversation. LOL thanks for your words Shanice :)

I am a Scientologist and Will Smith is not one that I know of. "Scio" is knowledge and anything with an "ology" on it means the study of. Scientology means the study of knowledge or knowing how to know. There is a thing called a "fixed idea" and that means knowing while never having observed. I was just blown away in finding the Will Smith is an observer and teacher of truth and that I had a fixed idea that is now truth. The source of truth does not matter but only that it is true. There is a lot of the worlds wisdom that became Scientology. We do not create wisdom but can only observe, learn and use it. DMB

He's not. But he's really good friends with Tom cruise. And I've seen him & his wife give no-answers to questions relating to scientology. Something tells me that if it were less controversial, better understood P.R.-wise, & if one could practice scientology the same way you would collect stamps, or be a 2Pac fan (half heartedly), he'd be on board.

Will Smith makes way more sense then what "The Present" talks about. "The Present" was the most annoying shit I've ever read in my life. It was worse than most zen books. "The Present" went way out of it's way to not explain what the truth is. Thankfully I know what the truth is and I know "The Present" misses the mark, it's like a child scribbling on a blank page with crayons.

I hate to say this, but unfortunately success doesn't depend solely on your positivism or effort. For example, a poor, unhealthy child born in the Congo Republic will not have the same chance of being successful as a rich, healthy child born in the United States. Although your attitude influence on your success, it is not the only factor.

look at Yahshua (Jesus Christ). this is real. Peter believed and walked on water. We are the sons of God. if we believe. brainwash your mind from the world to the word of God. the bible says we are clean through it. so we have to take the positive leave the negative and meditate on only those thoughts . we then renew our mind. spiritually we can be clean and empowered but not the same way. we need to be filled by Gods spirit . which is 1st. Genesis 1:1

The truth is you have no control in how successful or lucky you are in life. Many people try or work just as hard and never make it. In fact the people working the hardest are farmers in other countries working long hours. The point is your environment is in complete control of your life. If you are lucky enough to be born with the right stuff to make it, meaning location, looks, wealth, health and talent than it could be your turn and life could work out for you, but if you are born unlucky without looks, wealth, health or talent then you are unlucky but it doesnt matter because it all eventually balances out. No one has it better or worse than anyone else because it always eventually balances. Google *_Truth contest_* and check out the top entry. The truth has been revealed. The truth can and will turn this world right side up.

Good point. But it depends on what 'making it' actually means to you. There maybe farmers out there that love doing what they do, same way there may be farmers that hate it (goes for all professions). I hear you on your point of the environment controlling you; which is true but you CAN choose to change the environment you're in or the people you hang around with - to boost the chances of you 'making it'

    • @FavBlaDe

Success is objective. If a farmer lives a balanced life with a loving family, maybe he will consider himself as a very successful man. Success is doing and achieving YOUR best, not OTHERs best.

This podcast helps us a lot to reflect on the fact that each person must have discipline and responsibility to achieve the goals that we set for ourselves. We can say that when a person has a good mentality and is optimistic, they achieve their goals.
Discipline is of great importance, saying that cases of people who become successful only for a certain time have been evidenced, and this happens because they are not disciplined with their activities, resulting in short-term success.
In order to achieve the goals that we set for ourselves, we must deliver all our potential to fulfill it and thus feel satisfied with our own person.
Will Smith leaves us a great teaching and motivation for our lives.
