Hey my friend. It's great to see some of the aircraft I own being flown with skill and precision, please tell me it took years of practice to be that good so that I can sleep tonight :)
Hey, thank you very much for your very kind words! Glad you like it =) I think I might have a few too many hours in simulators 😅I've been a vintage aviation and airshow fan since I can remember and have been around airplanes for most of my life. Ever since I started sim flying around 17 - 18 years ago, when I got my first PC, I always enjoyed flying pretend airshow displays in pretty much any plane and in any sim. I guess that probably counts as a few years of practice 🙂
All I wanted to be when I was a kid was an RAF pilot, then found out I am red/green colourblind and that kind of killed the dream (they offered me stores clerk in the RAF when I chanced my arm and applied anyway:), I didn't accept). So anyway last father's day, at the tender age of 53, I was gifted msfs and I've been addicted ever since. There is just so much to learn and I'm curious to see if I maybe could've made it as a pilot, at least academically; still a long way to go though and I'm loving it. Keep up the great work mate, you've inspired me to try another skillset 👍
@@Keysersausage I'm really sorry, I somehow totally missed your reply! I really appreciate your kind words and am flattered that my videos can serve as inspiration =) That's an awesome gift and I'm glad to hear you’re enjoying the sim as much as you are. I'm addicted to the sim too! I've been in a flying club for a long time now and have been very lucky to take control of quite a few airplanes, including a few more exotic ones, thanks to very generous friends, but I'm still saving up for my Private Pilot License. MSFS is a great way to make the wait more enjoyable and offers a fantastic way to experience many aircraft that you would never have access to in the real world =)
Absolutely no need to apologise, sounds like you are very busy. I guess in real life most pilots only fly a handful of planes in their entire career, so it makes sense there are so many simming. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy your flight training and I'll certainly keep enjoying your vids. All the best mate 👍
@@Keysersausage Yes, that's true, there are many pilots out there, especially private pilots, who fly one or two aircraft types during their whole aviation career. I'm always fascinated by guys like Steve Hinton, Walter Eichhorn or Kermit Weeks who have flown countless types and feel comfortable with pretty much anything with wings, that would be the ultimate goal! Thank you very much! I hope you'll continue to enjoy your MSFS journey, it's an awesome sim =) And again thanks for your kind words and for watching my videos! All the best to you too 🍻
I like the old school rada screen.. nice flying!
Me too, overall I much prefer the steam gauge cockpit to the glass cockpit that you'll find in current production C-130s. Thank you very much =)
