The new sounds really transformed the whole experience! So far I only had time for three flights, including the one for the video, but it has become very enjoyable =)
Thanks for the updated video. Was disappointed with the p51 sound and decided against the p47 for the same reason. I am excited for better audio and just purchased the Jug
Very nicely demonstrated, I would also be very interested in the Thunderbolt, great sound! I have already experimented with airshow displays and recorded them with OBS, unfortunately it failed due to my less powerful hardware. I have now upgraded my PC and I would like to start new projects in your style. Could I ask you for a few tips on the optimal settings with OBS?
Thank you very much =) Glad you like this one as well! I agree, the sounds are awesome =) On my previous PC I had the same issue, I couldn't even do videos with FSX. From memory I haven't really changed any settings in OBS, it's set to my monitor resolution and limited to 30 fps to keep the file sizes down (you still can expect to need 15-30 GB per video). I might experiment with the fps a bit in the future. I'm looking forward to your videos! Please let me know when you start publishing them.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it =) Sorry for the late response! I think when it comes to size and dimensions the A2A Razorback was slightly better. On AH's P-47 the shape of the Razorback isn't quite right (even though they have dramatically improved it since the release) and the wings are slightly to fat. Having said that AH model is better when it comes to details like the rivets, wheel hubs or the wheel wells. Overall, I'm very happy with AH's P-47, especially since the sound update. But I would buy A2A's P-47 in a heartbeat if they would ever bring it to MSFS. Their warbirds were truly something special and are the aircraft I miss most in MSFS.
Thank you very much! Glad you like it =) Yeah, I'm very, very happy with the new sounds! Maybe the startup and shutdown are a bit abrupt, and the primer sounds a bit strange, but overall, the sound set is incredibly good. I especially like the low idle rumble when taxiing or the transition of the engine sounds between an open and closed canopy. I record the initial flight (from the cockpit) with the freeware Flight Recorder from flightsim.to and move the in-game showcase camera to a position on the ground for the replay.
Thank you very much! Now there's another candidate with the P-47 for a tail chase =) I already really liked the sounds in Echo 19's video but was very positively surprised when I started the sim yesterday. They have done another fantastic job! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, maybe you're lucky and it gets updated on Thursday.
Yeah, the new sounds have transformed the whole experience =) That's sadly an issue with a lot of MSFS airplanes, but yeah, it seems to disappear earlier than on many other airplanes.
The Turbocharger is modeled, but I haven't tested it enough to say how accurate it is. I mostly do low level flying and rarely use it. If I do, only to give a slight increase in boost. The only thing to note is in the DCS P-47 you can link the Blower lever to the throttle, that isn't possible here, you must individually adjust it.
Thank you very much =) Yeah, the startup and shutdown are a bit abrupt, which is a problem with a lot of MSFS planes. But overall, the new sounds are awesome!
The biggest issue I have with the startup is the prop animation and bad timing between the prop movement and startup sound, hopefully they’ll improve this at some point too! Then the module will be top notch!
@@arthurambroise7894 I would imagine that shouldn't be too hard for them to fix/adjust. But for now, I'm already very happy with the new sound set! It came as a very nice surprise yesterday =)
Looks and sounds good! Nice demo as well.
Sorry for the late response! Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it =) I agree, the sounds are much better now.
Sounds great now, I've been holding off getting this one but it looks like now I don't have any excuse.

Sorry for the very late response! I'm glad the video could be of help and hope you enjoy the Jug =)

Great video! Btw, in your opinion, is the visual model (size and dimension) in the same par with A2A Razorback?

@@vintagesimulations I guess your view is correct. I spent many hours in FSX flying the P-47D. Will consider getting this though. Thank you.
the sound is great !
Totally agree! They have really transformed the whole experience =)
@@vintagesimulations the enthusiasm continues after I installed the update 😎😁
@@timbuktu2163 I'm very happy to hear that! Glad you like the updated sound =)
Loved it !! Nice display at end - great video! Thank you. Happy with the new sound ? How do you do the air display recording ?

brilliant!
Glad you like it =)
looks neat
It's very enjoyable =)
Very well flown, sounds sound better than the Echo19 video. Hopefully this update will hit console soon too

Always entertaining to watch! Bye.

Much better sound. Still has massive issues in multiplay loading textures in particular the cockpit.

But is the supercharger simulated tho?

The startup sound was quite disappointing, no real variety of the sounds😢 But other than that, great overall sound, and flying!😊
