When the first ever WINamp was released... one of the first MP3's I ever got/downloaded/copied was Top Gun. I always wanted to be a Pilot and this movie inspired me throughout my childhood. Love it.

F-14 tomcat, still a beauty :) as movie 9/10, hated the part goose died
Retiring the F-14 was a HUGE mistake! Still one of the best fighter jets ever built!

I showed this to my dog and now he's a two-star admiral
I got really excited about this movie until I heard Tom cruise treated the real crew of the carrier like absolute garbage and pretty much took over the xo's cabin every crew member was told that they were not to look at him or in his direction ever. Like really? Our navy brothers and sisters are busting ass to keep the piece they didn't have to let the production come aboard but they were more than acomidating and he was a complete ass hat to the crew so as much as I wanted to see this I refuse to see it!! What he did is unforgivable to our navy sailo!!! Not Fuckin right!!!

If in the first 20 seconds of this if you don't have goose bumps, sweaty palms, and a racing heart then I say your are not yet living life to the fullest. I recommend 1. Go have sex, if your able off course or of age. (Likely the most common rush most people can have, on the ground anyway)
2. Find something fast and push it till your scared. For me its the two wheeled life with most of the time spent on one of course! No objection at all to 3 or 4 wheels, I just appreciate speed and what it can do for your life! (Im also a Camaro pilot, cuz I can't afford a Raptor or an F-18!). (yet)
3. Come back and see if you don't have the reaction. If you don't, you are broken and need speed therapy asap. If you did, good for you! You are on the right track, now go back and do it over and over till you need something faster!

No disrespect to Mr. Cruise, but this is going to be his biggest flop. The time to had made a sequel to this movie was 30 yrs ago when everyone was digging this movie. Now, its all about the marval universe. But, Can't wait until this movie hit Netflix, tho.
