Since watching your videos my breakfast is always organic chia, flaxseed and hulled hemp seeds, wheat germ, walnuts, blueberries, and red raspberries. Lunch is usually two chicken sandwiches using Dave's organic sprouted whole grains. I also like Ezekiel sprouted grain cinnamon raisin bread. 😀😀😀
LOVE your channel! .... that said ... I don't understand why there is no CONSENSUS among doctors about WHAT to eat ... There are a lot of distinguished docs here on UA-cam who are "total carnivore" or advocate "total keto" ... makes it VERY CONFUSING!
You don't need to fast beyond 24 hours. If you are ketotic, then you begin significant autophagy after ~12 hours of fasting. I activate autophagy everyday via a combination of fasting and exercise. I am in ketosis every day even though I eat carbs (I have a granny smith apple every day). The trick to getting autophagy with intermittent fasting is to keep the glycogen store empty. This is done (when eating low carb) by exercising to burn off the glycogen store every day, once the glycogen is gone and you're engaged in exercise autophagy is entered immediately. I spend a good 2 hours a day in autophagy this way. That adds up to 14 hours of autophagy per week which is a more than adequate amount of autophagy. None of this is conjecture, I measured my ketone 2×/day for 10 days to confirm this cycle.
Flour, water, salt. I Started making sourdough bread during lockdowns. I blend heritage organic flours, include some whole grains, and often add some mashed yam.
Dr. Liu, I posted a comment on one of your recent videos, where I indicated that your video was perhaps among the best videos on UA-cam. Now this video maybe a bit better yet?

Yes! I wish she could list it in the comments and pin it … put it on the screen so we can screenshot. Something… I can’t guess the amount of each ingredient.
According to doctors, the best flour is: + Whole wheat flour contains fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help improve heart health, blood sugar, and increase longevity. + Ancient grains (like spelt) are nutritious and have not been modified through crossbreeding.

Just make your own bread it’s so easy to make and add your own ingredients and super foods like flax . Also have apple cider vinegar before your meals. Start with vegetables as part of your day fibrous, then protein and carbs and exercise. Look into the order of food research and impact on glucose and metabolism weight and blue zone country diets and activities

Incredible wholegrain flour, but no good if you are sensitive/allergic to wheat 🙁
Great. But allergic to wheat!
Dr Liu should try Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Flour

Can somebody with diverticles eat flaxseeds?
Dr.Liu, what brand of wheat germ do you use? Thank you
For someone just starting to bake her own bread to make this healthy switch, which is the best store bought flour to start with?
Why not einkorn?
If you don't want the bread to have mold, put it in the fridge, then put it in the freezer after a bit.
Spelt flour breaks the bank.
How much flaxseed should we be eating per day?
You eat 25g flax seeds every day?
