Hey how are things? All your videos are really helpful for improving our English skills. Cheers Hope everything might be alright for you both Kisses from Spain 🔥🔥❤
You are amazing.Million thanks for you.I have a question , why some times native speakers say million dollars and other times say million dollars which one is the right 😎😎
Please, Leila and Sabrah, I need your advice. In this sentence: ´´I have exact certainly that is my real opportunity.´´ Should I write certainly or certain? Or the sentence structure is not correct? Thank you.
Well ‘exact’ is an adjective so you need a noun after. ‘Exact certainty’ would be correct. However, it is not a common way to express this ...maybe better to say ‘I knew’ ? I’m not really sure without the context. Best, L 👍💕😊
Thank you for the correction. I am working on my CV. I have not ever made it in English before. Anyway, the complete phrase would be: ´´After 15 years of living in this country that I was increasing my abilities in Japanese language and culture, I have decided that is necessary a driven alternative to my career reaching new frontiers. I have exact certainty that is my real opportunity to approach for new goals.´´ In this context, what do you think? Could you please analyze?
Why are there so many silent letters in English. They were pronounced in ancient times? This is very weird to me, in my language there are words with silent vowels ( lack of vowels in some words) but them are not present in the writing words.
1. Letter S - island, isle, aisle 2. Letter w - sword, write, wrestle, wrist, who, whose, whole, whomever. Answer two 3. Letter k - knife, know, knock, knowledge 4. Letter B - climb/ lamb, bomb, comb, tomb, thumb, doubt, debt, subtle 5. Letter C - muscle, scissors, fascinate, science 6. Letter T - Castle, Christmas, Listen, Fasten, Bustle, Beret, Ballet, Often 7. Letter D - Wednesday, Pledge, Grudge, Handsome, Sandwich 8. Letter E - Time/ ice-cream, Table, Before, Hide, Write, Walked, Talked, Listened 9. Letter H - Honest, Why, What, when, where, whole, who, whoever, whose, an Heir, an Honest, Hour, History, Historical, Happy 10. Letter P - Psychology, Paragraph, Elephant, Telephone, Pneumonia 11. Letters gh - Though / Through, High, Light, Thought 12. Letter G - Foreigner, Align, Sign, Magnet, Cognitive, Signature 13. Letter L - Salmon, Calf/ Calm, Half/ Would, Could/ Yolk 14. Letters ch - Ache, Archaeology, Architecture, Chaos, Character 15. Letter G - Champagne
