I have a question so I have the royal addition. Of the game and when I vist the places you when the stuff isn't there is this because of the royal addition or do I need to unlock those treasure by talking to those chefs for information
Vortex weapons seem to be better than these. Also where do u get the zwi daggers? I am still not post game and 100h in hahahah 2.6mil exp stored at lvl 44
my only real issue with FFXV it the fact that they recycle some weapon designs for other weapons. only a few guns, machinery and royal arms have truly original designs. also sorta wish prompto could equip Cerberus *imagines him using his trigger happy skill and dual wields twin sniper rifles for it*
final fantasy always had purely math based combat systems. all that counts is stats and numbers. and ffxv is so simple it can be beaten by simply holding down the attack button while running forward. you just have to do the quests in the right order and the game renders literally all its features obsolete.
A simple text box, or a 2 second audio recording saying "here are the locations for the items, just know many of them can only be found after beating the game." A simple one or 2 sentences is all it took, no need to hear about the neighbors pie, or how good raycon headphones are, just a simple sweet tip to go with the video so many players don't feel stupid. But I'm sure by now everyone has beaten the game. I'm just trying to find out if there are any things I haven't seen yet, which seems to be nothing at this point. But years ago I'd have been upset at the lack of actual information as he didn't really give us nothing but locations for things you can mainly only get once you go through the entire game. Imagine going to one place trying to get one weapon and spending hours if not days trying to figure it out just to learn this lazy dick failed to tell you when it becomes available.
I absolutely hated going through there, but I appreciated the sense of accomplishment I got when I beat it. Just because you can glitch doesn't mean you should sometimes. xD
Dude i was in there for an entire fucking day. I literally startef playing at 10 on a saturday morning and wasnt done until 8pm. That was the most frustrating dungeon in any game ever
I encountered that cutscene at 5:47 by accident when I was headind to the disc of cauthess I just thought that was a story cutscene but I guess I thought wrong

That Luna cutscene can't be counted as "secret" though. You spawn right in front of the radio with a group of 3 men listening to it, the voice is played by itself and the group is interactive. Clearly the game wants you to press the button rather than running straight to Ardyn.
Maybe it is still considered as a secret because the trigger to that said cutscene can be canceled thus it won’t be played. I mean, after you arrived at that rest area/station from following ardyn by car, if you run straight to ardyn inside the shop and ignore the 3 men group with a radio, you will cancel that secret cutscene by accident.
Im years late lol but some things I'd add: 1. Hyper magnum randomly respwans in the same spot 2. At mendacio if you turn around after shopping there's a Weapon monthly magazine from FF8 3. Equip all 3 fanfare talismans while doing AP exploit 4. the Black Hood is useless as you still get hit with equipped sometimes; its the other items in their that make dungeon worth it to me. 5. Can a,so get diamond bracelet from justice monsters5 6. Don't have to aim magic perfectly, you can use ignis regroup technique to get party out of initial blast zone before casting 7. Maxicast will cast Electin, Freeze, or Flare 8. Didn't know about Titan adamantoise summon, that's pretty fire

Nice video. On your map, you're missing at least 2 fishing spots, though. Vesperpool has 4 fishing spots. I leave it to you to figure out how to get to them :-D
Hardly a difficult thing to work out, the game has been out since November. Maybe this guy just prefers making clickbait videos instead of doing the fishing in this game
your missing a fishing spot in the vesperpool(17:50). towards the back(north-west end) if u ride the chocobo through the lake there are patches of land that will have a fishing dock. and a fishing post on the east end of gauldn quay otherwise love the post saw things I didn't know
In fact he's missing 3 fishing spots in Vesperpool, the one on north-west end, another one on the east upper the first one on the east side and a last one on the north on a small island (all 3 only reachable only by swimming there on a chocobo)
Thanks for the video! I'm at Hunter level 7 and am a hair's width from getting to Level 8. I've done every hunt that's available to me except for two level 99 hunts (the giant turtle and the snake woman) and I get my ass handed to me whenever I try to do them. I've repeated some high level hunts I've done before (like the giant bird inside the volcano and the Costlemark dragon), but repeating prior hunts don't boost my Hunter level at all. I don't know what do to now :-( I'm hoping there's a tipster I missed somewhere... Would have been nice for you to point each location out on the map, tho...
At the end of the game right after you beat the first king after beating ifrit walk to the elevators but don't go in. Instead turn around and walk out of the citadel and walk to the end of the street making sure you kill all in you path. You will see some rubble blocking your path but there is a way around. After you bypass the rubble there should be a lvl 85 physcomanser. Defeat him and you will have your prize. You may have to wander about in the area to make hime spawn but he is there.

I'm fairly sure you can't get any of the strong weapons (like Dominator) unless you've already got them from their original location (those damned locked doors). I've done every single thing to do and almost all items I pick up are high-end weapons now.

and in the settings , forgot where to go, but add the stamina bar to the top of your character. So that when the green reaches the ST (stands for stamina) you click the left stick
Doing this with the left stick is more tricky than if you do it pressing releasing and pressing circle. Remember that you can also sprint with circle, or the equivalent button or key
Can I get these things at any time or are some story locked? Like the ones you can just pick up off the ground for example, are they only there after a certain point?
So far the dominator and the daimond bracelet are NOT at their supposed locations here (and no I did not get them previously nor have I accidentally sold them: as I’ve never owned them). What gives? Just a heads up I’m beginning to assume more than a few of these items are situational based on chapter (as I’m now on chapter 14)
can you only get this stuff after the game? I'm right before finishing it (stopped the main quest to get all the optional royal weapons) and when I look for these objects none are there where you said they'd be. Gun, dominator, diamond bracelet etc.
The one thing that upset me the most was with the prompto gameplay. In his dlc, along with the skill to fight as him in the main game, he has a melee option, an assault rifle, rocket launcher if chosen, a sniper in his dlc, and grenades of some sort. I'm all for characters having their own skills, but why make the assault rifle a prompto only weapon? Even if they didn't let noctis use it why limit it to only be used when you play as prompto? I find the machines in the base game to be useless. The bio thing and chainsaw shit was just dumb. I'd rather always see him with a pistol and rifle of your choice but I guess that's just me. It seems like the creators had too many ideas last minute and didn't wanna take time to change shit.
Hmm im playing the PC version in chapter 8 and i didnt find neither the diamond bracelet, dominator or the magnum in those locations so i gues this only works for console

Do I have to be in a certain chapter to get some of these stuff? I am in chapter 3 which means I could get the dominator sword at 1:15 but I reached there and its not there. I fought the griffin thou and got the griffin claw.

I could not find any of the secrets you had before the sniper rifle and I couldn't even get the sniper rifle because apparently even though I finished chapter 5 I still can't get in to the Imperial fortresses

yeah, i'm thinking the same thing... they didn't put an effort for making different designs for the weapon just like the other final fantasy games
But, they resued weapons even more in FFX. There are like 3 designs per 10 weapons really.

there's another fishing spot near Galdin Quay. once parked go behind the item shop and keep walking towards the cliffs near the water.

For me I missed the stop by ravanough (volcano) the foodcart vendor had the lvl 8 hunts I needed
for the admantoise u can cheese it by using the ring of lucii as after u drain its hp by around 60% it will just vanish due to the ring of luci

how do you get that boost of speed when you run out of stamina? then it refreshes. i cant find it in ascension
when your just about to run out of stamina, click the left stick. might take a few trys to get the hang of it

In his dlc, along with the skill to fight as him in the main game, he has a melee option, an assault rifle, rocket launcher if chosen, a sniper in his dlc, and grenades of some sort. I'm all for characters having their own skills, but why make the assault rifle a prompto only weapon? Even if they didn't let noctis use it why limit it to only be used when you play as prompto? I find the machines in the base game to be useless. The bio thing and chainsaw shit was just dumb. I'd rather always see him with a pistol and rifle of your choice but I guess that's just me. It seems like the creators had too many ideas last minute and didn't wanna take time to change shit.
are these items in the new plus part of the game or are they obtainable in the first run through.

Hmm im playing the PC version in chapter 8 and i didnt find neither the diamond bracelet, dominator or the magnum in those locations so i gues this only works for console

I could not find any of the secrets you had before the sniper rifle and I couldn't even get the sniper rifle because apparently even though I finished chapter 5 I still can't get in to the Imperial fortresses
