- In this vlog, we explore Oman's old capital city - Nizwa. Home to the most visited national monument in Oman, Nizwa Fort, this city is a must-visit. We explored the fort, a castle with a ton of creative traps, as well as the newly opened Al Aqur Wall. We also paid a visit to Anat Cafe - probably the fanciest coffee shop we've ever seen - and a traditional Omani restaurant to try the local cuisine. And, of course, we couldn't skip the souq - our minds were blown by the number of khunjars we found there as well as the unlimited halwa (an Omani sweet) samples.

Amazing! Is there a way to go from muscat to nizwa without driving? Is there Uber there?
Only Taxi's operate in Oman but those are quite expensive. There is bus service between the two cities but driving is quite cheap and safe.
Nizwa has a bit of a scary history as well, a place called Bahla about 30 kms from Nizwa is considered by most Arabs as the main Center of voodoo craft, sorcery to be precise. It is said they can draw a line in the sand and time travel… that’s just one of their simpler tricks 🤞
Interesting… we never made it to Bahla, but now I want to go back and explore that side 🗺️
